Smart Boys is a Malayalam romantic drama comedy movie which is directed by M.R. Anoop Raj. The film casts a lot of newbie in the picture. Many of them have made their debut through this flick like Limu M. Shankar, Shamseer Shaam, Maanav, Loraine Reynolds and others. The first trailer for the movie had been released on 13 December 2015. The story runs through the lives of teenage people and their mentality. As it is a romantic comedy, therefore, stands to tell the confusion in the minds of these young people. It shows their life and problems and the things they get attracted to very easily.
Due to all these things and confusions, they are not able to make proper decisions for themselves. Thus their inappropriate decisions often lead them into trouble. Thus the makers try to engage the younger generation audience through their movie so that they try and understand the importance of things in their life and how essential it is to make correct decisions in one’s life. Hence they attempt to help them teach a lesson which is necessary for their livelihood.
The name “Smart Boys” was also to be used by Vineeth Sreenivasan for his new film but the official announcement of the same never happened, and he continued with his work and releasing the flicks with some other names. The picture is all set to release on the silver screen on 16 August 2016. The music was given by Shaheen Abbas, and the cinematography had been done by Rarish G. Kurup. Both these things add a special touch to the movie.
The editing of the story had been done by A.R. Jibeesh which turns in favor of the film.
