Plot

Five social media friends, who are in the Cinema Pranthan group, set out to make a short film in Mullasheri Mana. After they start the shoot, they witness a few eerie incidents and they started believing in the supernatural powers. What happened next? Did they get rid of the supernatural powers and start the shoot? How did the Mentalist Don John Bosco help them? Watch the film on the big screen!

Star Performance

Jayasurya is perfect in his role Don John Bosco, the Mentalist. The rest of the stars had done what is needed for their roles. The comedy track of Sidhartha Siva, Dain Davis and Jayaraj Warrier worked out.

Analysis

In the film “Pretham,” Ranjith Sankar didn’t include much incidents relating to the supernatural powers, but in the sequel, he had added ample scenes with it. Ranjith has chosen a good storyline with the spirit and tried to attract the audiences. The film that has a good first half turns pretty predictable in the second half. The director had also included the contemporary issues in the film. However, he could have gone a bit deep into the script that would have done justice to the title.

What’s Not There?

The second half is predictable

Verdict

The film has plenty of supernatural dealings than the prequel of the film. If the director has maintained the second half with little suspense, it might have been better. However, Pretham 2 is a good entertainer with the performance of the stars, the music and cinematography.
