Darshan is an Indian film Actor, who has worked predominantly in the Tamil movie industry. Darshan always wanted to be an actor since childhood. He went to Bangalore after completing his education. He stayed there for three years. But he eventually came to Chennai to pursue his acting. He has served in famous movies like Thumbaa and Kanaa. His previous film to hit the theatres was Thumbaa within the year 2019. After showcasing his acting skills in Arunraja Kamaraj’s Kanaa, he signed many other projects. Kenja Chethan Kumar is a young director of Kannada movies. He is famous for his film “Prema Geema Jane Do,” which was released in 2016. He was born in the small village of Udupi, Karnataka, India. He is not only a director but also an editor, screenwriter, and video editor. He became interested in plays when he discovered that his grandfather was a playwright and director. Yogaraj Bhat was born on 8th October, 1973 in Mandarthi, in coastal district Udupi of Karnataka. He is the 7th child of Ramachandra and Jayalakshmi Bhat. Ramachandra lost his life in a boat mishap.

Yogaraj is a famous director in Sandalwood industry. He has also tasted success as a lyricist, producer and screenwriter. He is mostly known for his 2006 hit Mungaru Male, which was written by Bhat along with Preetam Gubbi. He directed the film and wrote lyrics with others. Mungaru Male recorded the highest box office collections in Sandalwood history. His other achievements include introducing talented technicians to the industry like Pawan Kumar of Lucia, Pawan Wadeyar and many others.

His lyricist journey started with Mungaru Maleye from his film Mungaru Male and there was no looking back. He is so versatile that he can write a song like Mungaru Maleye and a fast one like Hale Paathre, showing his range of lyrical talent.

Bhat was inspired by classics like Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather, Akira Kurosawa's Ran and came to Bangalore at 22, to become a cameraman. As a newcomer, he served as an assistant to Girish Kasaravalli, Sunil Kumar Desai and many others. He was more thrilled about watching film making at close quarters than working with big names.

Bhat directed a TV serial, before making his first film. But it took him 8 years, before a producer could back him independently. His first movie was Mani and that showed memorable performances by Rangayana Raghu and veteran actress Umashree, both won State awards for their roles in the movie. Then he directed Ranga SSLC (2004) starring Sudeep and Ramya in the leading roles, however it did not do very well.

His next film after a long break Mungaaru Male became the biggest hit in South India, creating a record and followed by another hit, Gaalipata. He also acted in the film Dyavre for one of his assistants, which started his acting career.

He has been felicitated with several awards such as Karnataka State Film Award in 2015 for Sundarangiye of the film Preethiyalli Sahaja, Filmfare award in 2015 for Raja Raniyanthe of Rhaatee, SIIMA awards in 2015 for Raja Raniyanthe of Rhaatee, Mirchi Awards for Raja Raniyanthe in 2015, and SIIMA awards in 2018 for Salaam Rocky bha of KGF Chapter 1.

Shashank Sheshagiri is a Kanada singer, music composer, and music director. He has sung in many popular movies like Randhawa (2019), Avane Srimannarayana, Padde Huli and others.

Sonu Nigam is a renowned Bollywood singer and composer. He was born on July 30, 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana. Hailing from a musical background, both his parents are singers. He is the son of singer Agam Kumar Nigam. The first performance he gave was at the tender age of 3 when he performed the song Kya Hua Tera Wada by Mohammed Rafi. Besides singing Hindi songs he has recorded songs in Kannada, Assamese, Oriya, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Nepali and Marathi languages. In 1995 he started hosting the popular musical TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, after which he delivered the famous single Acha Sila Diya Tune for the film Bewafa Sanam. Some of his famous tracks are Sandese Aate Hai from the movie Border (1997), Ye Dil Deewana from the movie Pardes (1997). In 1999 he released his debut album Deewana, he also sang the title track for the movie Kal Ho Na Ho. Nigam has contributed in Britney Spears track I Wanna Go, and has also released a track in the album The Beat of Our Hearts as a tribute to Michael Jacskon. In his small acting career he has acted in films like Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaani, Love In Nepal and Kaash Aap Humaare Hote. Nigam is married to Madhurima and also had a son named Neevan.

Vijay Prakash is an Indian playback singer and film composer. He was born in Mysore and moved to Mumbai in 1996. He worked in so many Hindi films including Blue, Yuvraaj, Swades, Kaal, Lakshya, Matrubhoomi, Tere Naam, Cheeni Kum, Raavan, and Force.

Dhilip Subbarayan is a stunt choreographer, producer, and actor. He has worked in South Indian film industry. His main of contribution lies in Tamil film industry. After a long time of being a stunt choreographer, he made his debut in Sangu Chakkaram. He was born in Tamil Nadu. His father, Super Subbarayan also has served in the industry as a successful stunt chorographer, for many years. He showed interest in the action and fast lifestyle which is practiced. Like his father, he also dreamed of being in the industry and started working in many movies. He was first noticed in ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ in the year 2011. Kanal Kannan is an Indian actor, screenwriter, stunt director and a stunt choreographer in Kollywood, Malayalam cinema etc. He was born in Tamil Nadu. Kanal Kannan is one of the highly respected and senior stunt directors in south India. Kannan, as a stunt master is believed to beequalling Jackie Chan and is poised to become Tamil version of the same. Thriller Manju is a person who has left no stone unturned in the field of cinema. A multitalented person, he is a director, a stunt director, an actor and a choreographer. He was born as Manjunatha Kumar in the city of Bengaluru in Karnataka. He has been working in the Kannada Film Industry since the year 1990. Manju entered the film industry through the movie Gejja Nadu in the year 1993. He started out as an actor and did small supporting roles in movies like Jana Nayaka and Shh! a thriller film in the 1990s. After a few stints in acting, he went on to become the captain of the ship that is the director. He ventured into filmmaking in the year 1996 through a cop movie. Thriller Manju, as his name suggests, made a thrilling and racy cop flick titled Police Story. This movie, whose story and screenplay were also written by Manju, had actor Sai Kumar in the lead. It became an instant blockbuster and even today remains a trademark film. The after effect of the movie was so high that fans started to expect another similar movie from Manju, which led him to direct the sequels for this cult film. In the year 2006, after ten years of the release of the first one, Manju directed its sequel movie titled Police Story 2. This flick also had the ‘Dialogue King’ Sai Kumar in the lead. The movie opened up to mixed reviews.

Darshan also known as Darshan Thoogudeep is an actor from South India well known for his roles mainly in Kannada movies. He is known to be one of the most famous and credible film stars in the Kannada cinema industry.

Devaraj is a Kannada actor who works in theatre and film industry. He has worked in Tamil and Telugu film industries as well during his career spanning more than 25 years. He was born on 20th September 1960, in Bangalore. He worked in HMT for 9 years before he started his Sandalwood journey.

Dhananjay is a South Indian actor who is predominately seen in  Kannada films. He is the latest heartthrob in Sandalwood, who was a techie in Infosys. At a young age, he was very much active in theatre, he spent many days visiting  Rangayana theater in  Mysore for want of roles that he had dreamt of performing on the stage.  But he also completed his degree in engineering and was a rank-holder and even got a job in Infosys to take care of his family. 

The two times national award winning actor for supporting roles Dattanna alias HG Dattatreya was working in Air Force, but was interested in acting. He is one of the actors, who are highly qualified and also held a position as a principal in the management academy of HAL. Acting was his passion and so, he continued to do films regardless of awards. Although awards are definitely an encouragement for the actor, but to continue his journey in over 90 films that spanned over 26 years is indeed a remarkable feat. Although he chose to take up supporting actor role or even in character roles, he is known for his versatile performances in Kannada film industry. 

In many Kannada films, the central plot revolved around him, therefore, giving a greater satisfaction to this actor, who had underplayed his role as per the script always. HG Dattatreya had excelled in many movies, especially in Munnudi (2000) and Bharath Stores (2012) that fetched him a national award. For his effortless and natural performance of a small time grocery retailer in Kannada film Bharath Store, he was given a special jury award. Most of the actors in the tinsel town are not comfortable doing minor roles, but this actor has no qualms about it. He also impressed the Telugu audience with his performance in Thila Danam. His acting wooed audiences with brilliant performance in Kempe Gowda (2011). Many would have raised eyebrows at the decision of Dattanna to move towards tinsel town, but so far, he received applauds for his acting in many films. Known for his magnificent acting prowess in Kannada cinema, he has bagged many State film awards too and won an International award. In the years that followed after his journey from theater to Kannada screen, the actor has carved a niche for himself. 

Besides grabbing the National Awards twice in 2003 and 2012, Dattareya had received the Best Actor Award in International Film Festival in Fiji in 2013. Dattareya’s performance in Neer Dose with “Jaggesh,” "Haripriya" and Suman Ranganathan is unforgettable. In 2017, he played in Srinivasa Kalyana, “Jilebi,” a comedy horror thriller, Prathima, “Raajakumara,” Tab, Kempirve and Hombanna. In 2018, he played in more than half a dozen films including a web series titled Joshelay. 2019 started with success for Dattareya through Jaggesh movie Premier Padmini. He played in the high budgeted multi-starrer Bollywood film, Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Sonakshi Sinha, directed by Jagan Shakti.

Thanks to his underrated yet extremely sincere performances in half a dozen films. To sum up his acting ability, he had given strong proof of his acting talents holding his own against the biggest banners of Kannada cinema.

Ramesh is an actor and director, goes by the name Mandya Ramesh in the industry. Ramesh was born in Mandya to Subrahmanya and Nagalakshmamma.

He was interested in theatre and acting since he was a kid and entered theatre in 1982 with Mandya theatre group called Geleyara Balaga under the direction of Ashok B. He has more than 25 years experience in the field of acting in theatre, small screen and films.

He has worked with big names like B V Karanth, Prasanna, K V Subbanna, K V Akshara and some senior theatre directors all over the world. His initial success was when he won the award for Best Young Director of Theatre at Samskara Bharathi Natya Samaroha at Delhi in 1983, which was within one year of his entering the field. In 1984 he graduated as the best student of Neenasam School of Drama, with a degree in BSc.

Under the leadership of B V Karanth, he was selected as an actor for Rangayana of Mysore in 1989 and worked with him for more than 8 years. This was the time, when he toured New York and other states of America in 1993 to perform Kannada version of Greek Play Hipolitus. In 1996, he also played Kannada version of Shakespeare’s Mid Summer Night Dreams in Germany and Austria.

His vast experience in theatre brought him many offers from the Sandalwood. He made his debut with the super hit film Janumada Jodi, starring Shivanna, produced by Dr Raj Kumar and directed by Nagabharana. He went on to act in more than 100 films in his long career and also worked in many TV serials. He is known to his fans as an actor with funny bones.

His hit movies include but not limited to Nagamandala, Kanasugara, Colours, Maathad Maathad Mallige, and Mussanje Maathu. He founded and heads the Mysore chapter of National School of Drama. His contribution to all three fields theatre, films and television is very valuable.

Manjunath Hegde is an Indian Film Supporting Actor. He worked in the Kannada Film Industry. Manjunath made his debut as a Supporting Actor in the Film Industry with the Kannada film Hebbuli (2017) as Shankaranna. He later worked in the film Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial. The film released on the 3rd of August in the year 2018. This film revolves around Vaasu who is love with Mahalakshmi. He tries to win his family’s heart. But problems arise between the two and they rift apart. Ajithavasan Uggina is the Director of this film. B. Ajaneesh Loknath is the Music Composer for this film. The film stars Anish Tejeshwar, Nishvika Naidu, Manjunath Hegde, Avinash, and Aruna Balaraj in the main roles. Manjunath also appeared in the films such as Mugulu Nage (2017), Churikatte (2018), Sankashta Kara Ganapati (2018), Victory 2 (2018), Bazaar (2019), Yajamana (2019), and Rustum (2019). 

Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily works on comedy roles. He is also a director and music composer. Rakta Kanneeru, Om and Shhh are some of the movies that he directed and also acted. The Vijay starrer Devru was also directed by him.
Born on 24th March, 1966, Sadhu Kokila, also known as Kokila Sadhu, hails from a family of musically inclined people. His father was a violinist in a music group of Karnataka Police Department. His sister and mother are singers. Layendra, Kokila’s brother, is also an actor. Kokila pursued his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School in Bangalore. Kannada star Upendra provided him with the name Sadhu Kokila. 
Kokila kickstarted his career in the film industry as a musician and eventually he was referred to Kasturi Shankar, another musician. He has the reputation of being one of the swiftest keyboard players in India. Kokila has helmed direction for 12 Kannada flicks, and 6 of them were remakes. His directorial venture Anarkali was dropped midway. 
Kokila expresses that audiences and the media question whether his films are a remake or original. He had made up his mind not to endeavor in remakes. He feels that composing music requires a lot of creativity. As far as his comedy stint is concerned, he is loved by the audience. And about acting he feels that it is exciting. Sadhu Kokila has received awards for music direction twice. 
As far as remakes are concerned Kokila is of the view that there are creative limitations. But originals are enjoyable both in the sense of creativity and visualization. Sadhu Kokila along with Doddanna make a good pair for situation comedies. Kokila is compared with Johnny Lever of Bollwyood,for his comedy skills. 
On his personal front, Kokila is wedded to Saleena. They are blessed with two sons. 

Sanju Basayya is a famous actor, content creator and comedian. He has worked as a supporting actor in many films. He is also quite prominent on Instagram and Facebook. He keeps posting his comedy videos on Instagram, which people like a lot. Apart from this, he has also done many comedy stage shows and worked in comedy videos. He was born in Muragoda. He debuted with Khiladigalu, a comedy reality show of the Sandalwood industry. Sanju has also worked in many short films on YouTube. Thakur Anoop, who is a pilot by profession, had a dream since childhood to pursue career in acting. He was born to an Indian family in 1989. Now he lives in Mumbai. Thakur Anoop Singh is a model-turned actor. Anoop made his acting debut with TV's premium fiction show “Mahabharat” portraing the role of blind king Dhritarashtra. Anoop is doing several modelling assignments and has appeared in a couple of shows like Jai Bajrang Bali and played 'Hanuman' in Ramayan.
