Thakur Anoop Singh

Thakur Anoop, who is a pilot by profession, had a dream since childhood to pursue career in acting. He was born to an Indian family in 1989. Now he lives in Mumbai. Thakur Anoop Singh is a model-turned actor. Anoop made his acting debut with TV's premium fiction show “ Mahabharat Click to look into! >> Read More... ” portraing the role of blind king Dhritarashtra. Anoop is doing several modelling assignments and has appeared in a couple of shows like Jai Bajrang Bali and played 'Hanuman' in Ramayan. 

Anoop, who is a family oriented man, is the youngest and one in the star cast of the show. Anoop also has passion for pets. He is currently an owner of a 4-years-old Great Dane named Oscar. Talking about him he says, "This can be my third dog, but we are extremely close to each other.” Whenever he gets time to play, he acts as if we know each other for a long time. Anoop says, “He currently weighs 90 kg, but still behaves like a child to me.” Anoop is a very talented actor who has played the role of Dhritarashtra in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s “Mahabharat” on Star Plus. “I am an acting professional who uses method appearing,” says Anoop. Anoop adds, “In my opinion in becoming successful, in addition to sensation the face inside us, in the event I can become in which personality. Initially, he has done some modelling assignments and also been Mr. India as first runner up in Fit Factor. To perform as an actor is his childhood dream and his wish came true when Siddharth Tewary come up with the proposal to cast him in the role of Dhritarasthra for swastik productions. To get into the skin of the character, he actually groomed himself for this role by growing hair, increase weight and also done some mythological shows like Bajrang Bali, Dwarakadheesh Bhagwan Shree Krishna, Ramayan.

Currently, he is playing the character of ‘Mulla Do Piyazaa’ in serial ‘ Akbar Birbal Akbar Birbal is a Hindi television series broadcas >> Read More... ’ coming on Magic TV. Apart from films, he is passionate about dogs and named his 4yr-old Great Dane – Oscar. He is also attached to some NGOs who work for street dogs. He, himself provides foods for street dogs.
