Plot
Bala, a 25-year-old guy, looks a little older due to his bald head. He also has diabetes. Bala had been demoted from his job to a salesman. His childhood friend also leaves him. Bala is disheartened. However, he tries to come up in his life and to gain huge confidence. He becomes a standup comedian and starts imitating popular Bollywood stars. What happens next? Did Bala gain the attention of the audiences and become a star? Watch the movie to know the rest.
Star Performance
Ayushmann lives in Bala's character and impresses the audiences. He makes audiences laugh and also gets their sympathy too. Bhumi Pednekar plays a lawyer with huge confidence and attracts. Yami Gautam, Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Banerjee, Javed Jaffrey and Seema Pahwa are good in their roles.
Analysis
The script is good. The screenplay and dialogues are also excellent. Thanks to Niren Bhatt, who has done a commendable job in penning the story and dialogues. The characterization is good. But, the makeup for Bhumi Pednekar is not much impressive Amar Kaushik has executed the movie well. However, the second half has some repeated scenes and slightly irks the audiences. But, the film is completely impressing with the excellent performance of Ayushmann Khurrana.
