He was also awarded as the best TV actor for two times. His last serial was Maharani, the Tamil serial, which was aired on Vijay TV. Maharani was aired from 2009-2011. Sreenath acted as Devaraj, the husband of Yamuna and the lover of Sandhya Madam. Yamuna role is played by Sulakshana and Sandhya Madam is played by the multi-talented Malayalam actress Praveena.
