Athira Pratap is a classical dancer. Athira Pratap is pursuing a neuroscience degree from the University of South California as a Dean's Scholarship Student. Athira Pratap learned dance, especially Bharatnatyam when she was four years old. Athira later learned Mohiniyattam under her mother’s guidance, artistic director of Dance Academy named Nritanjali. Athira is the Thyagaraja International Dance Festival Winner of 2013. Also, Athira is Asianet’s North American Classical dance winner. Athira performed at Guruvayur Temple, Kerala, and Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival.
She is the lead dancer at Nritanjali Dance Academy. Athira does choreography work for the Academy. She helped to produce ‘Nartana Malika’, ‘
