Mangalya Pattu was Written and Directed by N.K Sasidharan.  The story of Mangalya Pattu revolves around a person who has been orphaned early childhood and fell into the hands of a famous don and goon who grooms the child and the boy grows up into a dreaded criminal. Eventually he falls in love and decides to mend his ways and tries to start a healthy and normal life. But, his former boss continues to try hard to bring him back to the dark world of crime. This show is all about the story of Bharathan, the lead and the lead protagonist of the show, a former outlaw who repents for his sins and intends to live a reformed life.
