Science has done wonders….it brings something new…something fascinating & when it’s a science fiction show then the level of excitement becomes a notch higher. This was among the first science fiction shows ever aired on Indian TV that has become so popular & raised numerous eyebrows. It’s about a life-like robot that looks like a very cute girl. The story revolves around a scientist, Vikram, who designs a very lifelike robot. His goal is to find out if the robot (Karishma) will become more human-like as time goes on.
His wife, Sheetal, who is easily influenced by her neighbour Shraddha, suspects Vikram to be having an extramaritial affair due to his late work hours. But when Vikram reveals Karishma to the family, everything is forgiven and Sheetal accepts Karishma as a daughter. Rahul, Vikram and Sheetal's son, is constantly annoyed by his neighbour, Sweety, who has a crush on him. Vikram, Sheetal and Rahul are the only ones who know that Karishma is a robot.
Their nosy neighbours Shraddha and Paresh interfere in their lives and try to figure out who Karishma really is. This is the premise for a lot of episodes. Every episode, Karishma saves the day by solving the family's problem. Science has become our friend. One just can’t imagine a day without the inventions if science & when science gives you a life-like robot one just can’t afford to miss it. Karishma got so adjusted in Vikram’s family that they love him like their own daughter. So, why do we wait…enjoy this awesome scientific ride…!!
