Heaven Is For Real Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
The trailer commences with a cute conversation between a mother and her young son, that turns out be serious. The boy starts talking about his older sister who died before being born. He tells his mother that he met her in heaven. This shocks his parents. In the past, the boy experiences a near death situation and that his parents plead everyone to pray for him. The boy survives miraculously. The boy tells his parents about how he could see his parents who were in distant places, despite him being in hospital. The boy starts behaving and talking strangely. He even speaks about how he met his grandfather in heaven, who looked young. Everyone start questioning him about heaven and his thought-provoking description makes them believe that Heaven Is Real. The impressive trailer has got 5,463,422 views. Sony Pictures Entertainment released seven videos of the film. Nick Glennie-Smith composed the soothing music.
The movie gets inspiration from the best-seller book Heaven is for Real, written by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent. Four-year-old Colton has a deadly experience. He has to undergo an emergency surgery. Doctors claim that they might not save him, but he miraculously recovers. He tells his parents about how he visited Heaven during his surgery. His father Todd initially thinks that they are his kid’s hallucinations, but when Colton describes Heaven and the people he met there, Todd gets convinced that he had indeed been to Heaven. The news about Colton grabs media attention and Todd shares his experiences with Colton to people through the radio and says that he supports his son. The movie comes to an end with a present day picture of their family. It received mixed reviews from the critics and positive reviews from the audience. The film got nominated for 41st People’s Choice Awards.
