Vasool Mannan is scripted and directed by Vel Kumaresan. Arumugam Mathappan produced the film. Bharani composed the music. RN Sivakumar cranked the camera, and Suresh Urs edited the film. The film featured Sri Deva, Niveda, Rindhu Ravi, Vela Ramamoorthy, Saravana Subbiah, and Saravana Sakthi.
Plot
Saravanan is an engineering graduate. He gets petty loans from many, which grew into several lakhs. As he is unable to repay the loans, he escapes from the creditors. Priyadarshini dreams of becoming a cop. She is ready to spend as much as possible to achieve her dreams. After learning about Priyadarshini’s wish, Saravanan tries to move close to her just for money. Started as a friendship, their relationship turned into love. At this juncture, Priyadarshini learns about Saravanan’s true intentions. She decides to take revenge? Will she become a cop and fulfil her revenge? The rest of the story follows this.
Star Performance
Srideva and Niveda have done justice to the given roles. Vela Ramamoorthy is good in his role. Saravana Sakthi is decent in his role as a comedian. Saravana Subbiah didn’t have much to do.
Analysis
The script is very old. The masala entertainer has comedy as the main theme. The film didn’t have enough good supporting actors to share the lead actors’ weight. The visuals are okay for the budget. The songs are above average, and the BGM is decent.
