Plot
Ballu is a bangle seller living in a small village in Uttar Pradesh. Sadi Ram is a matchmaker, and he finds a suitable bride, Savitri for Ballu. Savitri and Ballu’s families meet, and they fix a date for their marriage. Savitri has a brother, Balwant. He is a wrestler. After the wedding date is fixed, Ballu develops some issues with his eyesight. He is unable to see at night. On the marriage day, Balwant finds out that Ballu has eyesight problems and decides to cancel the marriage. Angry Ballu decides to learn wrestling and defeat Balwant. What happened next? The rest of the film tells if Ballu and Savitri get married.

Analysis
The script looks good on the paper. But the screenplay and execution are average. The plot is simple, yet the makers could’ve managed it with some interesting scenes to engage the audience. The scenes where everyone expected them to create tension were not handled properly. Certain scenes are amateurish. Though some comedy scenes make the audience laugh out loud, many scenes fail to do so. However, the backdrop is authentic. The visuals are quite decent, and provide a rural feel. If the writing had been better, the audience could’ve felt the depth in the plot.
