Maheen Zia is a Hindi film director and editor from Pakistan. She has worked as an editor in a production house, documentaries, and short films. She is one of the founder members of the organizing board of Pakistan's young international film festival. She has also served as a jury for International Film Festivals.

She is a member of PAWS (Pakistan Animal Welfare Society). She is a winner of the India EU film Initiative. She also won the third prize for her documentary work ‘The Women of Lahore’ in international competitions. She won the Berlin Today Award for her short film Match Factor in 2008.

Miriam is identified by her position as founder and director of Filament Pictures. Her other works include directing documentaries for international channels like National Geographic Channel and BBC, and also has been the director, producer, and writer of the documentary “The Rat Race”.

Her work has also gained appreciations like the Asian Television Award for the film “Robot Jockey”.

Miriam Chandy Menacherry has worked as a producer and assistant producer in many documentaries, some of which are From the Shadows (2022), The Leopard's Tribe (2022), A Window of Time - Lockdown Diaries (2020), The Snake Charmer (2017), and Lyari Notes (2015). Apart from this, he has also directed a short film named The Tigress of Mumbai (2022).
