Plot

Rehmat Khan Bio coming soon... >> Read More... , a man from Kabul, is a bioscope owner and shows films to the children. Minnie, a little girl, becomes friends with Rehmat Khan. Rehmat Khan and Minnie share a good bonding. All on a sudden, Rehmat vanishes from Minnie’s life. After some years, Minnie becomes a documentary moviemaker and is living in France. Minnie comes to know that her dad Robi Basu, who was traveling to Afghanistan, died in a flight crash. Minnie seeks the reason for her father’s trip to Afghanistan and she finds out that it involves Bioscopewala, who was her childhood friend. How is he related to her father? Watch it in the cinemas!

Star Performance

Danny and Gitanjali had played their characters perfectly. They have understood well the essentials of their characters and emoted well without any over actions. Adil Hussain played his part well.

Analysis

The debut director Deb Medhekar has done a beautiful job. He hadn’t done any damages to the original script and had adapted it neatly. The emotional scenes are beautifully designed. A father, who yearns for daughter’s love and a kid, who longs for a dad’s love is neatly captured. Gulzar’s lyrics and Mohan’s voice in the song Bioscopewala gels well with the film. The cinematography and the other technical works are good. The director should be appreciated for not dragging the film and making it crisper.

Verdict

Bioscopewala is a beautiful story, which impresses not only the children but the elders too. Occasionally these types of films are shot and the audiences are satisfied. Watch the film with your family and you will like it for sure.
