Plot

Andres Hernandez is a singer, and Vivo is kinkajou. They performed together in the street of Havana. Everyone in the town enjoys their music. One day, Andres received letter from his friend  saying that it has come from Florida. Andres read the letter and realized that this letter was from Marta Sandavol. Marta is his old love. They used to perform together. The letter informed Andres that Marta is retiring and she want to perform her last song with Andres in Miami. Everyone in town suggests they go to Miami. But Vivo wished to stay in Havana. Andres tells Vivo that this is the chance where he can confess his love. He show him a song he had written for Marta. He says he will sing this song with Marta in Miami. But Vivo gets upset he does not want to leave Havana. But he then realized how Andres helped him during his hard time. Vivo starts packing bags. The next morning, Andres died. Vivo takes the responsibility of giving the song written by Andres to Marta. During his funeral service, Vivo meet Andres's niece-in-law Rosa and her daughter Gabi. Gabi tells Vivo that she will take him to Miami. Will Vivo agree with Gabi? Will he be able to five the song to Marta? The rest of the film speaks about it.

Star Performance

The vital feature of animated movies is dubbing. Every character dubbed the character well. Lin-Manuel Miranda, as Vivo, was incredible. Ynairaly Simo, Gabi was energetic. Her feeling as an energetic 10-year-old bad singer was amazing. Zoe Saldana, as Rosa or the mother of Gabi, was good. The role of a mother, who is strict as well as caring, was great. Juan de Marcos Gonzalez was astonishing. He was the main character but had less screen time. But he still slayed the movie. Gloria Estefan as Marta was good. Her emotions in the film were genuine. All the other characters voices blended with their character well.

Analysis

Animation was incredible. Adventurous and action scenes were displayed well. Character sketching was not as good as expected. The music and songs were good. There are so many movies as the musical films, but this film has one of the best songs. The film has a good storyline. The dialogues and plot were good. There was a  lack of twist and suspense in the movie. The love, care, friendship, and of Vivo with his owner Andres is described beautifully in the movie. The length of the film waste appropriately maintained.

Verdict

The trailer of the film was terrible. The trailer should be a spoiler to the film, while this film explains the whole movie. After watching the trailer, you already know what will happen next. The film is a family-friendly, adventurous film. So, adults or teenagers would not enjoy it. Someone who has a great love for music will enjoy the movie. Kids also enjoy the film. The adventurous journey of Vivo will help the kids to know patience.
