Plot

The story is about a dog Ozzie, who lives with a family in which there is a little girl, Paola. Paola and Ozzie grew up together so they had a good bond and used to do all the mischief together. One day, when they were playing, they broke something in the house next to them and Paola and Ozzie’s dad had to bear all the loss. Because of which Paola has been scolded and now it has been decided that she can’t leave the house for two days. Ozzie is very sad because got scolded because of him and now there is no fun outside although, all the dogs in this area were her friends. Then Paola and Ozzie decide to go skateboarding hiding from their mom and dad. While they successfully escape from home and playing outside, Paola falls while riding a skateboard and now she has been hurt a lot. While Paola and Ozzie were quietly getting back to their room, their mom sees them. She was going to scold them but dad comes and stops her, and in the next scene we see Paola’s dad has been offered a foreign trip from his company. They were going to Japan for vacation, all were happy but the problem was they could not take Ozzy on this trip. He calls all his friends and asks them to keep Ozzy for a month, but no one agrees. So, they decided to leave Ozzy with the company who look after dogs for money. The rest of the film revolves around Ozzie’s struggle to survive in that environment.

Star Performance

The voice artists that were chosen served a satisfactory and clean. The animations are something that the filmmakers must have worked on, it lacks vibrancy and crisp detail and none of the characters look appealing. The script includes a lot of bullying in the form of physical and verbal abuse and the writing and cinematography fall flat.

Analysis

Ozzie is a kid friendly film that is capable of keeping your children entertained. It also teaches animal abuse which is like a prison that you can never escape. But the film also has a lot of unexplained unnecessary scenes which can be boring and lengthy. Altogether, It is definitely a family movie and would recommend it for all ages but more so 4 and up deficiently a humorous but a little more serious movie.

What’s There?

The movie conveys a serious and momentous message to the society.

What’s Not There?

The animations and dialogues were dull.

Verdict

The movie is a one time watch which shares a valuable message related to animal violence and ferocity.
