Mosley Movie Review

 “ Mosley Click to look into! >> Read More... ” is scripted and directed by Kirby Atkins. Bill Boyce, Daniel Story, David Townsend, Yang Uhe, and Chen Yengyu produced the film in association with Lotus Entertainment, China Film Co., Ltd., Huhu Studios, and China Film Animation. Markus Kristensen cranked the camera. Alain Mayrand and Harry Hansen composed the music. Rialto Distribution and Paramount Pictures distributed the film. The film features Kirby Atkins, Levi Guyan, Rhys Darby, Lucy Lawless, Temuera Morrison, Leah Atkins, John Rhys-Davies, John Phillips, Curt Cloninger, Kendall Hewitt, Ryan Roebuck, Gailin, Irene Wood, Timothy Raby, Lara Macgregor, Markus Kristensen, Teuila Blakely, Adrian Smith, Daryl Habraken, Kalo Toon and Scarlett Sills.

Plot

Due to human destruction, the creatures called thoriphants decided to migrate to the north for their safety and survival. But some of them were not able to do so. These thoriphants were captured. They are under the control of human beings. This results in bending their back and losing their ability to use their hands. Thoriphants believe their cousin’s Uprights will come and save them from this slavery. Mosley named thoriphants, works under Simon. Simon is the father, and he makes Mosley plow his fields. Mosley and his wife, Bera live together. Bera gave birth to their son and named him Rue. Mosley and Bera were unaware that Simon was going to sell their child. What will Mosley do? Will he be able to save his child? Will Upright will come to save them? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Kirby Atkins, as Mosley, did an incredible performance in the film. He was a determined father who tried his best to save his family. Everything about his character was well portrayed. He is a lovable character in the whole film. John Rhys-Davies, as Warnie, was brilliant. His detailing of the character was outstanding.  He did a fantastic performance in the movie. He did his best to save his people from humans. One would hate Temuera Morrison as Warfield, after watching this movie. That much impact he made in the whole film. His appearance as the hunter was scary, and horrifying. Rhys Darby, as Deaver, and Lucy Lawless, as Bera, did a remarkable performance in the film. All the other voice actors were as good as, the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film was excellent and enjoyable. The film focus on the central theme of the love of a family. The film shows how in complex conditions, together, we can win against it. The animation in the movie was excellent. The adventure nature of the film is maintained from the start till the end. The storyline was exciting and engaging to the audience. The film will be loved by adults and children. The script is well-written and framed. The film had great message and theme. The animation with a great direction, makes this film engaging. The quality of the animation was excellent in the movie. The adventurous journey of Mosley to save his family was well demonstrated in the film. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent.
