Alina Lanina, Sebastien Sisak, Sanzhar Madiyev, Anton Pampushnyy, Valeriya Shkirando, Stanislav Shirin, Vyacheslav Razbegaev, Nikolay Shestak, Vladimir Butenko, Aleksandr Semyonov, Igor Maslov, Dmitriy Savyanenko, Evgeny Venediktov, Sergey Shatalov, Marusya Klimova, Anna Shkil, Viktor Pashkin, and Konstantin Adaev are the members of the cast.
Plot
In the film ‘Guardians The Superheroes’, superheroes are modified in a secret lab and created into ideal superheroes who are meant to save the world from a villain. The villain in question is August Kuratov. He is a self-centered, evil scientist who exploits human beings for his self-serving needs through the use of his intelligence and scientific knowledge. There are four superheroes; Arsus who is a werebear, Kseniya who can become invisible, Khan who has the power of speed, and Ler who is the lord of rocks. These are Soviet superheroes who are gathered during the Cold War by a secret organization called “Patriot” and this organization alters the DNAs of the selected individuals. This team of superheroes has representatives from different nationalities of the USSR. Every superhero has powers that reflects the background and cultures of the people of the USSR. The rest of the film shows how this team works to defeat the villain.
Star Performance
Alina Lanina’s performance in this film is brilliant. Sanzhar Madiyev has also acted excellently in all his scenes.
Analysis
It is quite apparent that the plot of this film has nothing novel in it. It is simply a concoction of elements from various popular superhero comics and movies like ‘

’, and even a bit from ‘X-Men’, and given the new name “Guardians The Superheroes”. The superheroes also have obvious similarities to superheroes like The Hulk, Invisible Girl, and Quicksilver, need I name more? There is almost nothing original in this film as even the situations that these superheroes are put into, are a Walmart version of the original thing. Apart from lacking, or rather, being devoid of originality, there are some other good points about this film, such as the cinematography and visual effects, which are excellent. All the actors look attractive and have also performed excellently. The backstories of the characters are quite deep, which helps us emotionally connect with the characters.

Verdict
Even though the film is devoid of originality, everything else about the film is good. People who don’t mind the stereotypical movie plots and a lot of familiar superhero tropes, can go ahead and watch this film.
