‘Divine Enfant’ is a French comedy movie directed by Olivier Doran.

Plot-

By marrying Sarah, who is a winemaker and has already had two husbands and three daughters, Jean did not suspect that he would have spent Christmas Eve with the whole tribe. Jean is the first love of Sarah. For Jean, what turns into a nightmare, is when Sarah offers him his first gift, she carries their child. Sarah ignores all that her husband is sterile, and for good reason, he did not tell her when he met her, for fear of losing it. Sarah knew Jean’s desire for a baby and did not dare notify him of his condition.

Jean’s suspicions are of course very quickly covered by the ex of his wife. But between Xavier, the police commissioner who entered politics, Eric, the dart Contemporary Centre director Bordeaux and Thomas, and the commercial rap star, how do you know who the culprit is? And this confuses the child's parent, without evoking hunch of his wife.

Sarah invited all three former husbands to the Christmas Eve. Using all methods that psychology offers to get people talking, even the least orthodox, John will attempt to unravel the true from the false, seriously putting in jeopardy the balance. The erratic behavior of Sarah, hired a Santa, who will be transforming the evening into a nuclear disaster.

The story then revolves around finding the culprit.

Analysis-

This movie has a few hilarious parts. As the story is around the dubious baby, and finding who the father is, the director tried creating drama with humor. Few portions didn’t make sense at all, but we can wind up by saying that the movie was well scripted.

Star performances-

Sami Bouajila acted the way as if he had no idea what is happening around him. Emilie played her character well. Others are quite funny.

What’s there?

This movie is full of drama with a few gags.

What’s not there?

French comedies are always full of satire and above that, the presentation of that art. This movie lacks in that however.

Verdict- If you are getting free passes, then you can go and watch this film.
