Plot

Dax Shepard Dax Shepard is an American actor, director, writer >> Read More... enacts the role of an officer in the movie. He had been a motorcross champion earlier and now is facing difficult times. Currently, he is working as the rookie in his specific detective department. He works under officer Michael Pena who is an undercover agent. The job of Michael Pena is to find a group of bad cops who are associated with big robberies. Does the two manage to do their work, leaving aside personal differences? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Dax Shepard and Michael Pena are good in their roles but the script could have given more work to their acting skills. The supporting actors do not leave a lasting impression given that the script is weak.

Analysis

Shepard, who penned the script and helmed the movie, could have executed the film in a better way. There is lot of bike chasing and gory sequences in the film. The movie doesn’t have any refreshing moments and one will get bored sometimes. The villain’s role is not upto the mark and the plot seem to have messed up totally.

The cinematography is quite good.

• The movie goer will have a sense of detachment from the movie sometimes due to its poor plot and not-so-strong characters.

• The action sequences of the movie are average

The movie is the same tried and tested one of such genre and there are no big surprises that keep you hooked to the seat. It has lot of content that cannot be watched by family audience.
