Naveen D.Padil is a film actor and a theatre actor in the South Indian film industry. He has done predominant work in Kannada. Naveen was born on the 11th of November 1969 in Padil, Mangalore, and Karnataka, India. Naveen started as a theatre artist, mostly in Tulu language. He has performed in more than a thousand plays. He is well recognized in the Tulu theatre field from his performances as a ‘Master of comedy and tragedy.’ He is reffered to as ‘Kusalda Arase,’ which means ‘The king of happiness.’

He won many awards for his films like the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ award in the Karnataka state film awards for his role in ‘Kudla Cafe’ in 2014 and ‘Best Actor in a comic role,’ the RED FM Tulu Film Awards for his role in ‘Oriyadori Asal’ in 2014. In 2015, he won ‘Best Actor in comic role’ for his role on ‘Telikeda Bolli’ and ‘Best Actor’ for his role in ‘Chaali Polilu’ in the ‘TULU Cinemostava Awards.’
