His father is a director, actor, and writer in the Tulu cinema. Arjun was born and brought up and educated in Mangalore. He completed his MBA from SDM College in Mangalore. He has featured in various Kannada and Tulu films since 2012. His debut was in the Tulu film called Telikeda Bolli in 2012. For this performance, he received the Red FM Tulu Film Award 2014 in the best actor category. Telikeda Bolli was produced by Central Cinemas, with the specific producers being Sharmila Kapikad and Sudhir Kamath.
