Thiru

Thiru is a film director in India who is famous for his works in the South Industry. Since 2010, he has been a regular member and of the Tollywood family with his movies. He is also known for writing screenplays for his own projects. Before his foray into the industry as a director, he worked mainly as an assistant director.

Originally named as Thiru Krisnamoorthy when he was born, he has done a total of three Tamil films. All of them had some amount of commercial success in the theaters. His first directorial venture was in the film called "Theeradha Vilaiyattu". The 2010 released movie opened with a bulk of positive reviews from cine-goers and eventually became a box office success. Early 2013 saw the release of Thiru's next directed movie named " Samar Click to look into! >> Read More... ". The suspense thriller received a great response from audience and critics alike. It was a hit at the box office but was involved in many controversies. The title of the movie faced many legal issues which delayed the estimated release date. Thiru again chose Vishal for the lead role in Samar along with other prominent cast members. It was produced by Jaya Balaji Real Media. The story, written by Thiru, revolved around the central character who visits Thailand in the hope of finding the woman he loves but instead gets strangled in a series of situations.

Thiru was the assistant director for the movie Sathyam, which was directed by A. Rajasekhar. He is married to Kartheeka Angarthiya who is the daughter of reputed film-maker Agarthiyan. Agarthiyan has done a variety of Tamil films and has received many accolades for the same. The psychological thriller was well received by the audiences and earned a lot of profits in the theaters. The main theme of the movie is narcolepsy.

Currently, Thiru is working on his next film with veteran superstar actor Vikraam in the lead role. It is titled "Geruda" and is presently being shot in locations such as Delhi, Oman and Ladhak. The Silverline Produced film is said to be "an action-packed entertainment" by the director himself. Kajol Aggarwal will play the female lead opposite Vikraam.
