Kamal Addararachchi is a well-known Sri Lankan Actor in the Theatre, Television, and Film Industries. He is also a singer and a Teacher. He was born on 5 February 1962. He has completed his education at Wesley College, Colombo. Kamal began his career in 1978 by performing a play, Ane Ablick.In 1981, His debut film Gamini Fonseka’s Sagarayak Meda.His famous movies are Saptha Kanya and Agnidahaya.In 2002, He received the Sarasaviya Best Actor Award for the film Agnidahaya.

In television, he has acted in various teledramaas such as Hiruta Muvaven, Rathu Rosa, Dandubasna Maanaya, and Weda Hamine. He received Best Supporting Actor and Most Popular Actor for the teledrama Dandubasna Maanaya. In 1993, As a singer, he made his mark with the song Unmadawoo in the film Saptha Kanya. In 2012, he appeared in the first Music video Hithagaawa. He has done 40 films, 20 Teledramas, and 6 stage plays.
