Herojit Naoroibam is a famous Indian writer, lyricist, director, and scriptwriter, mainly active in the Manipuri film industry. He was born to the late Naoroibam Nodiachand and Momon Devi at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai, Imphal, Manipur. Herojit Naoroibam debuted as a director and scriptwriter for a radio play Nama Do Chaphu Huranbini. He wrote the scripts for some famous radio plays like Dharma Gi Ming Da Emagid-Amak, Hangam Maru Pokhaibi, Pi Thadoi Ahum, Sangbrei Mana Gi Chenghi Manam, and many more. Herojit debuted as a lyricist in the song Hoo Chage and Nangna Nokpa Yengningi. He gave his voice as a playback singer for original scores of many Tv series, movies, and albums.

He also wrote a Manipuri film Mitlu, released on 16 October 2017. It has directed by Gyaneshwar Konj and starred Gokul, Hemabati, and Bala Hijam Ningthoujam. Herojit Naoroibam died on 12 June 2022 due to a heart attack.
