Soma Laishram, born on 5th January 1992, is a prominent actress and singer in the Manipur film industry. She predominantly works in the Manipuri films and music videos. Soma was born in Imphal in Manipur. Soma started as an actor in Phijang Marumda as Linthoi in 2010. She has worked in hit movies like Epaaktuda- The Lake, Hingbagee Mahao, Nangna Nokpa Yengningi, Nungshi Feijei, Tomthin Shija, Enakta Leiringei, Khurai Angaobi, and Ima Machet Icha Tangkhai.
Soma was a part of several hit music albums like Angaoba Malang, Because of You, Should’ve Loved Ya, Eigi Nakta Famlo Lao, and Nura Pakhang (Eu e Tu). She has acted in more than 150 films. She joined the Republic Party of India- Athawale in September 2021. Soma participated as the show stopper for a beauty pageant at the North East Students Festival in New Delhi. Soma is a robust lady who believes in voicing reality.Â
