Manda Leima is a well-known actress and model from the Manipur industry. She predominantly works in films and theatre. Manda was born as Manda Saikhom on 22^nd March to Babudhon Meitei and Ongbi Taruni Devi in Imphal, a district in Manipur. She has been working in the industry for ten years. Her father is a renowned theatre artist and writer of films. He inspired and motivated her to become an actor. So, she pursued her acting career and got fame with the film Lalashi Pal in 2002. She played the role of Ingengi Atiya in 2002, Kalpana in 2003, Nungshi Hekta Hairage in 2004, Lallibadi Eini in 2004, Angangba Kurao Mapal in 2004, Ta-Tomba-The Great in 2005, Laang in 2005, Inga Nonglakta in 2006, Kaboklei in 2009, Lanphamda Ibeni in 2012, Soinairaba Thamoi in 2018, and Ei Lakkhini in 2018.

Manda was a part of the non-feature film Nawa Seidum in 2020, selected as the Micro Film Finalist at Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles. Her film won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Tagore International Film Festival 2020 and the Best Narrative Film at Moment International 2020. Manda won the Best Actress in Manipur Film Award at the North East Television People’s Choice Award 2004, Guwahati and the Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 7^th Manipur State Film Festival 2010 for a role in Kaboklei. She is married to Salam Iboyaima Meitei. They have two children, Marcy Salam Luwang and Naojinglen Salam Luwang. She is a gorgeous and talented actress.
