Prince Jacob born on July 16, 1960 is a renowned tiatrist and singer from Goa, India. He is known as "Konkani Comedy's Most Famous Man." He was the second son of his father's second wife. Jacob was assumed as a joker in class and at home after putting his back to the wall. However, he excelled in elocution contests, football, song, and drama. After finishing SSC at Holy Spirit Institute in Margao, he enrolled in a welding and machining programme at Don Bosco in Goa, where he stole the show by participating in activities and drumming for a band.

He was referred to tiatrist Ligorius Fernandes, and at one of his plays, Paapi (Sinner), tiatr veteran Antonio Rosario Fernandes (Roseferns) recognised him and gave him a role in the production's premiere play, Thapot (Slap), which went to 100 full house shows. Jacob was crowned 'Prince of Comedy' for Thapot's 75th show on Gandhi Jayanti in 1982, complete with a crown and robes.
