Rajdeep Naik is an Indian Actor, Comedian, and Tiatrist. He was born in Savoi Verem near Ponda, which is in the state of Goa. Rajdeep Naik is married to Suchita Narvekar, who is the director of Rajiv Kala Mandir. The actor is well-educated and has two Master’s Degrees to his credit. Rajdeep Naik was interested in theater from a young age, and his family used to watch Marathi dramas. After graduating, Rajdeep Naik began to question why despite being Konkani speaking Goan, people preferred to spend their money on Marathi dramas instead. Determined to change this, Rajdeep Naik came out with his first tiatr in 1998, with monetary and moral support from his godfather, Pundalik Naik. 

Rajdeep Naik is passionate about preserving Konkani Tiatr, which is a traditional Goan type of musical theater art form. Rajdeep Naik has strived to come out with new tiatrs every year since he first started, with the exception of the pandemic. Famous for his tiatrs, Rajdeep Naik has garnered immense popularity among Goans across the globe. He has worked with the Department of Art & Culture, Goa, to orchestrate the grand 'Natya Mahotsav.' His works have not gone unnoticed, and he has won several awards for his dramas. In 2012, Rajdeep Naik received the coveted Yuva Srujan Puraskar from the Directorate of Art & Culture, Goa government, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Goan theater. Rajdeep's unwavering dedication is evident in his tireless endeavors to preserve Goan culture and heritage through art. 

Besides being an actor, Rajdeep Naik is also a vocal social critic and activist. He came up with a popular series where he would record himself discussing contemporary social and political issues over a phone call with a fictional character known as Vasanti. Through this, he managed to educate the populace on many relevant issues like Mahadei, education, and the importance of preserving the local language of Konkani. His decision to feature themes of inequality and political corruption has caused his dramas to get banned on more than one occasion. Still, it has also made him more popular among Goan citizens.
