Asma Abbas is one among the few talented serial actresses in Pakistan. She hails from a legendary family. Asma is the daughter of Ahmed Bashir and Mehmooda Bashir. Dania Enwer is a Pakistani Actress and Model who predominantly works in the Urdu entertainment industry. She was born on 9 February 1992 in Islamabad, and raised in the city of Karachi in the Sindh province in southern Pakistan. Dania Enwer’s father’s name is Enwer Khan and her mother’s name is Aziza Enwar. She has two siblings, a brother and a sister named Daniyal Enwer and Dua Enwer respectively. Dania Enwer chose to move to Karachi because of its better acting schools and opportunities for hands-on experience.

Farhana Maqsood was born on December 12, 1985, in Lahore, Pakistan. She is a popular television actress and singer. She became popular in the industry at a very young age. In 2000, Farhana made her acting debut with the TV show "Bulandi," which aired on the PTV channel, and her role in this serial received a lot of love and appreciation from the critics.

Kiran Haq is an actress in the Pakistan Television industry. She was born on 26 October 1988 in Lahore, Pakistan. She studied till her graduation and then became a fashion model. She started her modeling career with an agency in Lahore. Kiran started her acting career through a private producer named Naveez, who gave her a role in "Sharbati" aired on the PTV channel. After that, she started getting various supporting roles in TV serials. She has been more active in the industry since 2010. After appearing in "Tere Pehlu Mein" (2010), she gained recognition as Kiran. In the initial days of her career in the industry, she got roles as a supporting actress for drama series such as Akbari Asghari (2011), Bano Bazar (2012), Durr-e- Shehwar (2013), Saheliyan (2012), etc.

Sumbul Shahid is a Pakistani actress who is well-known for her character roles in TV Serials. She was born and brought up in Karachi. She is popular for her performance in Golden Girls. Sumbul Shahid is well-known for her presence in the serials, Malika-e-Aliya, Takay Ki Ayegi Baraat, Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat, Ishqaaway and Khabarnaak. Khabarnaak was directed by Adeel Farhan and penned by Aftab Iqbal. Sumbul Shahid is the sister of Bushra Ansari, Neelam Ahmed Bashir and Asma Abbas, famous in the Pakistan TV industry. While Bushra and Asma work in front of the camera, Sumbul’s other sister, Neelam, works behind the camera; yes, she is a writer. Sumbul Shahid is married to Major Shahid Nasir, who worked in the Pakistan army and had a son, Shiraz. Shiraz died while paragliding in Chitral. He was just 35 when he died.

Whether it is in Pakistan or India, the transitions of TV serial actors to the big screen have in many cases been beset with hiccups. In fact, in Pakistan a much lower number of actors have migrated smoothly into film careers than in India. Even those who have been successful have seldom managed to get away from typecast roles they performed in their first films. In case of Adnan Shah, (sometimes also referred to with the suffix ‘Tipu’) however, the story has been different. Although his initial appearances on TV were in comic roles, in serials like “Sab Set Hai”, he grew up ultimately to be a versatile actor excelling in diverse roles. Mohsin Gilani or Mohsin Gillani is a Pakistani movie and TV actor. Mohsin was born on December 19, 1958, in Pakistan. He started acting during the 80s and appeared in several Pakistani films. However, he did not earn enough success on the big screen, so he shifted to performing in drama serials and usually portray fatherly roles.

Kashif Mehmood is a prominent Pakistani actor and a producer, who started his career as a stage actor in the year 1993. He is also doing minor roles in television plays. His breakthrough came when Muuno Bhai offered him for a role on PTV Home’s 'Zaroorat'. In the following year, he acted and produced 'Aashiana' on the same channel. Sohail Sameer is a Pakistani television and film actor. He was born on 19 February 1980. His birthplace is Lahore, Pakistan. Sohail debuted with the role in the tv serial Suno Chanda. He is a post-graduate in geo-sciences. His favorite singers are Atif Aslam and Abida Parveen.

Zain Afzal is a famous Pakistani actor. He was born on 23 January 1990. He completed his schooling from Lahore Grammar School. After this, he completed his further studies at Beaconhouse National University. He started his career with the film Zinda Bhaag. This film won many awards. After this, he worked in the 2015 movie Maya. He played the role of Sam in this film. He is known for the role of Taimoor in the film Sanwari. He was also invited to the celebrity talk show Mazaaq Raat in 2018.

Noman Ijaz is a Pakistani actor, who was born on 14th February 1965 in Lahore, Pakistan. His father was a manager at one movie theatre in Lahore and his father’s job influenced him a lot in getting into the acting career. His family led a simple and humble life and his father wanted to make sure that all of his three children received good education and they were sent to the best Christian Management schools in Lahore. Noman has two brothers and he is now married to Rabia and they have three children.

He began his acting career through PTV and he acted mainly in dramas. He was famous for his negative roles in the dramas and is considered as one of the most respected senior artists in the Pakistan industry. Noman struggled a lot to find his place in the industry initially and he was widely respected for his hard work and humble behaviour. He started his career with a negative role in the drama ‘Rihaee’ which made him famous both among the audience and the industry folks.

He has an Urdu movie ‘Ramchand Pakistani’ to his credit which was released in 2008. He portrayed a Pakistani Hindu, who crossed the border towards India accidently and his wife’s role was played by Nandita Das in the movie. He was honoured by Pakistan president with the ‘Pride of performance award’ in 2011. He currently hosts a TV show on PTV.
