He has also worked in the films Khamosh Pani (2003), also known as Silent Waters, in which he played Haji Munnavar's role and Hum Ek Hain (2004). He won the President's Pride of Performance Award on 23 March 2016 in the Arts Category to honour his 50-year acting career.
