It is quite remarkable to notice that many of the actresses in the sub-continent today, whether from India or Pakistan, come from quite contrary backgrounds, most of them having either qualified for professional courses, or even having started a career in the very same field. Her most notable dramas were “Ishq ke Inteha”;  “Meri Zaat” and “Zindagi Gulzaar Hai”.

Born on 9th August 1955 in Lahore, Pakistan, Samina Butt is a Pakistani actress who has worked in many dramas, films, and telefilms. She has also shown a keen knack for direction in the past years. She graduated from the Karachi Government College of Commerce and Economics. She is married to Usman Peerzada, a well-known actor in the industry, and has two daughters, Anum and Amal Peerzada. She changed her name from Samina Butt to Samina Peerzada after marrying the actor. Samina made her film debut in 1980, playing Lisa in the film The Blood of Hussain. She has worked in many films over the years like Shaadi Mere Shohar ki ( 1986), Mukhra (1988), Bazar-e-Husn (1988), Bulandi (1990), Nazdeekiyan (1991), Pabandi (1992), Khwahish (1993), Zar Gul (1997), and The Valley (2017). She has also performed in theatrical productions, most notable of which are Raaz-o-Niaz and A Doll House.

Sumbul Iqbal is an actress and a Pakistani Model. She was born on 30th August 1990 in Karachi, Sindh. She is known for her performance in the television series Raju Rocket, Meray Khwab Raiza Raiza and much more. Sumbul stepped into the television cinema when she was nineteen years old. She began her career with the show named Do Saal Baad. The show was a Mystery series and Sumbul was recognized for her work in the show. She appeared in many Pakistani television series which includes Dil-e-Abad, Rait Aur Angan. She has also worked in many plays. Some of her notable works as a theater artist were in the play Bhaag-Bhaari Neeli Chatri and Babu Jee Dheere Chalna. Babu Jee Dheere Chalna was a Drama series which was aired on GeoTV. Sumbul’s first successful show was Dulha – Eid Special. The show was aired on Hum TV. The show received mixed reviews but turned out to be a turning point for Sumbul. After that, she appeared in a lot of television show. She appeared in some shows as a guest.

Khalid Butt is a Pakistani actor and director born  in Multan, Pakistan. He started his film career as an assistant director. He directed many films as well. He is the brother of actor Zahid Saleem. He moved to Lahore, Pakistan, building his acting career in 1979. His acting career began in the 1970s. He acted in various Punjabi and Urdu television series, shows, and films. He is mainly known for his roles in Hum Dono(1980), Ishq e laa (2021), Mujhay Jeenay Do(2017), Tere Pyaar Mein(2000), Laal Ishq(2017), Landa Bazar(2002), Boota from Toba Tek Singh(1999), Love, Life Aur Lahore(2011-13), GT Road(2019), Khai(2023), Gunjal(2023).

Born on February 26, 1937, Naeem Taheer is a Pakistani actor, teacher, public speaker, and dramatist. Married to YASMIN TAHIR. He has three children named Farah Tahir, Mehran Tahir, Ali Tahir. His works are extensively published. He has completed BSC and MA (psychology) and a bachelor's in arts theatre.
