Zaheen Tahira is one of the most senior and veteran actors in the Pakistan television history. She belongs to an elite class of theatre actors and has played the lead role in more than 700 plays over a span of three decades. She started her career in the late 1970s and had been active in the industry until present. She had also appeared in the phenomenal Pakistani serial “Khuda Ki Basti” by Shaukat Siddiqui, which had broken TRP (Television Rating Point) records through its enigmatic performances and a starry cast.

Shazia Akhtar is a Pakistani actor predominant in local television and dramas. Shazia Akhtar is from Islamabad, Pakistan. Shazia is well known for her work in the films Karachi Law (2007) and Abhi Abhi To Aye Ho (2007). Shazia Akhtar has also appeared in Pakistani dramas such as Man O Salwa and Parsa. She has collaborated with well-known actors, including Babar Javed, Mehreen Jabbar, and Ayaz Naik. Shazia’s brother is the famous Pakistani singer, Yasir Akhtar. She was married to her cousin Ayaz Naik, who was also a Pakistani actor. Shazia did a film, Dastak, with Ayaz Naik as co-actor.

Yasir Akhtar is a famous Pakistani singer, whose talent was first praised when he was of four years and first appeared in ‘Beyond the Last Mountain’ which is Jayed Jabbar’s Motion Picture. As a child artist, he worked in many TV commercials and joined college theatre, but his career started taking a direction when he worked for a TV serial Dastak, by Shehzad Khalil. 

Later, he formed a musical band, with his college friends and named it as ‘Arid Zone’. This band soon gained popularity. Yasir gained love from his fans after launching his audio albums like ‘Laut aao na’, ‘Tu jo mujh se mili’, etc. In early age of 20 to 21 years, Yasir directed ‘Milan’, his first music video. This video was immensely praised and liked by Ghaznafar Ali, the Executive Director of Combined Studio to such an extent that Yasir got an offer for a music programme to direct which was a great achievement for him. 

Yasir was soon famous, when he worked for MCC where he directed 7080 music videos for 50 episodes. 

Yasir started Pegasus Productions in 1995, which was his own production company. He even started series of telefilms called Tapaal, which garnered warm reviews from critics. Furthermore, he went on to direct Zeher, the award wining movie which received well both appreciation and acceptance. 

Yasir has recently released his third album ‘My Love’ with three other videos like Chann mahi as well as Sanam. Yasir himself directs his music videos. Even he travelled Egypt to shoot his other two videos ‘Betaab’ as well as ‘Chanchal’, as for Yasir, it has some Arabic touch which will be well expressed with the pyramids and the locale of Egypt.

Saleem Sheikh is a Pakistani TV/film actor and producer. Born in March of 1965, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Saleem Sheikh's career started in the very early stages of life. He began as a child actor working for PTV's children plays like Shama in 1976. He is the younger brother of Javed Sheikh, who is a well-known and revered actor, producer, and director in the Industry. He is married to Nosheen Sheikh and has three beautiful daughters. He is very invested in his family, and all the family members are very close and share a special bond.

Khalid Ahmed was born in Patna, Bihar, India. He is a well-known Pakistani performer. He moved to Pakistan in his teens in the 1970s. Despite an early interest in the arts (he learned to play the banjo and Hawaiian guitar), he first earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of California, where he also taught the subject for a time at NED University in Karachi before going to study theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Imtiaz Ali, a Bollywood director, is his nephew. Ahmed's TV show, 'Talkhiyan,' which aired in India, received positive feedback. He believes that one of the reasons why Pakistani dramas are so popular in India is that they provide something new to the viewers. At the Harlem International Film Festival in New York, Khalid Ahmed received the Best Actor for his performance in 'Waiting,' making him the first Pakistani to achieve it. He was also recognized for his role in Sakina Samo's directorial debut, Intezaar.

Qazi Wajid, a famous veteran Pakistani actor was born on 26 May 1930 in Lahore in Punjab of Pakistan. His popularity is totally apt because as a personality he has been part of Pakistani show business industry for 48 years. Qazi’s career began when he worked in Radio Pakistan in job profile of radio presenter and after working there for long 25 years he retired and started working as an actor.

His performances were highly appreciated and in 1988 he received the prestigious Pride of Performance Award. He has acted in several highly popular dramas, such as Hawwa Ki Beti and Khuda Ki Basti. He is active in the industry since 1956 and had become a star personality in the industry with the aura around him. He is very popular in serials and also as a global artist working often in USA.

His major and most famous project is Khuda Ki Basti which was based on the Shaukat Siddiqui’s novel with same title. It made TRP records in Pakistan, Sotayli about a woman who becomes a stepmother, when she marries her best friend’s husband,  Shezorim and it telecasted on PTV which starred Neelofar Abbasi and Shakil, Pal Do Pal a family drama, Shama based on family issues between husband wife, Hawaain based on journey of an ambitious lady etc.

The various shows he had also worked in are Bechain, Kinara Mil Gaya Hota, Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat Hai a romantic story of lovers, Tanhaiyaan based on a sad love story, Mirza Ghalib Bunder Road Par (a hit serial on PTV telecasted in year 2000), Bebak based on lawyer, Khala Khairan based on a lady of same name who is hired to help a family to drive some tenants out of their house, Woh Rishtey Woh Naatay based on family and relations, Tumhain Kuch Yaad Hai Jana, Operation Dwarka 1965 based on real operation done by Pakistan navy for attacking Dwarka in 1965, Parchaiyan that aired on ARY Digital and also as Mera Saaya in India on Zee Zindagi based on life of Sauleha who gets pregnant in age of 50 and faces criticism from his family and society. He is an inspiration to youth and upcoming new talent.

Saleem Nasir was a TV and cinema actor from Pakistan. He made an appearance in the PTV drama series Angan Terha. On 15th November 1944, Saleem Nasir was born into a Pathan family in Nagpur, British India. With the 1976 movie Zaib Un Nisa, he launched his professional career. Aakhri Chatan, Nishan-e-Haider, Ankahi, Dastak, and Aangan Terha are a few of his well-known plays. His popular performances were Captain Sarwar Shaheed in the drama series Nishan e Haider and Sultan Jalal Ud Din in the serial Aakhree Chataan. In the renowned drama serial Unkahi, his language delivery was remarkably authoritative. It is the tale of everyday people who battle all odds to succeed.
