Roshan Atta was born in 1919 into a doctor’s house in Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Shikarpur District, Pakistan. When her debut play, Moonjharan Jo Maag, a Sindhi play, aired in 1972, she gained popularity. She started her career in Karachi when she moved there with her husband. She subsequently became a famous radio actor due to her innate talent in voice acting. She slowly went on and started working with veteran and experienced artists and directors. Her famous plays from both Sindhi and Urdu include Gharbhaati, Oalra, Jiyapo, Bure Hin Bhanbhor Mein, and Jungle.

Abdul Qadir Junejo is a writer and playwright. He was born on 13 September 1945 in Village Jinhan, Tharparkar, Sindh. His father was a police officer. He did his schooling in Jinhan itself. He did his B.A, B.Ed and M.A from the University of Sindh. He became a primary school teacher in 1962, and a secondary school teacher in 1972. He remained director of the Institute of Sindhology at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He was chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority till 2008. He was a very respectable person in Pakistan. He wrote 22 Sindhi dramas and 11 Urdu dramas.
