Zaheen Tahira is one of the most senior and veteran actors in the Pakistan television history. She belongs to an elite class of theatre actors and has played the lead role in more than 700 plays over a span of three decades. She started her career in the late 1970s and had been active in the industry until present. She had also appeared in the phenomenal Pakistani serial “Khuda Ki Basti” by Shaukat Siddiqui, which had broken TRP (Television Rating Point) records through its enigmatic performances and a starry cast.

Sumbul Iqbal is an actress and a Pakistani Model. She was born on 30th August 1990 in Karachi, Sindh. She is known for her performance in the television series Raju Rocket, Meray Khwab Raiza Raiza and much more. Sumbul stepped into the television cinema when she was nineteen years old. She began her career with the show named Do Saal Baad. The show was a Mystery series and Sumbul was recognized for her work in the show. She appeared in many Pakistani television series which includes Dil-e-Abad, Rait Aur Angan. She has also worked in many plays. Some of her notable works as a theater artist were in the play Bhaag-Bhaari Neeli Chatri and Babu Jee Dheere Chalna. Babu Jee Dheere Chalna was a Drama series which was aired on GeoTV. Sumbul’s first successful show was Dulha – Eid Special. The show was aired on Hum TV. The show received mixed reviews but turned out to be a turning point for Sumbul. Rabia Noreen is a beautiful Pakistani actress born on 2nd December 1965 in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. She pursued her higher education at the University of Karachi and, just after that, made her debut as an actress in 1987 on PTV Channel. Rabia's career got a kick-start in 1991 when she appeared in another PTV Channel's famous daily soap, Zeenat as the lead actress. Maria Wasti, born on 14th August 1971, is a Pakistani Television & Film actress and host. Pakistan’s first private (non-government owned) channel launched in the 1990s, Network Television Marketing, featured contents that grasped attention and interests of the younger generation of the society, and hence, fascinated Maria to become an actress. Maria has done over 50 serials and a huge number of assorted plays. She started her career with the play ‘Sarah Aur Ammara’ for which she was approached by Bakhtiar Ahmed, the programme manager PTV Lahore Centre.

Afshan Qureshi is a Pakistani film star. She started her journey to stardom about three decades ago, which makes her one of the eldest members of the Pakistani film industry. The actress is also the mother of Faisal Qureshi, who’s a very famous and loved actor of Pakistan.

Yasir Shah is an actor and a model born in Dubai. He belongs to a Muslim family. His father is from Pakistan Karachi and mother hails from Delhi. He started his acting career in 2006. His first appearance on TV was for the character Azaan in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap named “Khwaish”. That lead role turned out to be a big hit and commenced his acting career. His famous play played on Eid was 'Shadi Ka Larka'. Ali is now running a production house and had subsided from acting but his old serials still had a strong impact on his audience.

With Pakistani TV Actor, things have happened in the reverse order – he made his debut in films and then migrated from films to TV serials, which surely goes against the normal trend. But keeping in tune with his penchant for adventure sports like scuba diving, flying and hunting, Asad is a self confessed “adventurer” and bold enough in whatever he does or comes across. Although not one to have originally thought about an acting career, nor having taken any initial formal training for it, he grabbed the opportunity, prompted by his impulsive nature, when the opportunity came his way, back in 1989. 

As mentioned, Asad Malik started his acting stint as a film actor in 1989, though none of the movies in which he featured could be referred to in any glowing terms, starting off with a horror movie entitled “Pamela”. As his film career really did not take off in any way that would have given him any encouragement, he turned his attention to drama, which still is considered the best art form in Pakistan to show case one’s acting talents. After a brief period of internship, Asad caught the eyes of discerning theater goers with his acting in the 1993 drama serial “Dasht”, shot in the backdrop of Balochistan with a woman centric theme, in the year 1993. 

That was a turning point in his career, and from then onwards Asad demonstrated his inherent talent as an actor to the theatre world at large. Side by side, with his name spreading as an actor, he took up modelling opportunities that came his way, side by side with his acting. He then went on to act in quite a few plays of that period, for the then sole TV channel - PTV. Some of these plays like the family drama “Janey Anjaney”, tale of brothers and sisters, “Aansoo” and the slightly controversial “Niqab” most of them penned by the legendary writer Haseena Moin and aired in early 2000 on PTV made Asad a front runner on Pakistani TV. 

Completing a series of fairly successful drama serials for PTV, Asad had also gone over to the private satellite channels when the opportunity came, featuring in “Dil Moti Ke Mole” for ATV, followed by two more for the same channel titled “Adhoori Film Ki Puri Kahani” and the other one called “Angoori”. “Larkiyan Mohallay Ki” followed with Hum TV as well as “Kaisi Yeh Deewangi”, also for Hum TV. His sole appearance for Geo TV at that time was “Buri Aurat”. His appearances ranged from social, romantic, family as well as slightly adult themes. With his success on the TV screen, Asad Malik had confided in several forums that he harbours no intentions to try his luck once again in films, and is quite confident about his future, describing himself as more of a self made man, rather than someone who has followed someone else’s footsteps or guidance in the growth of his career.

Adil Murad is a producer and actor in the Pakistani film and television industry. He had worked in films like Raja Sahib in 1996, Buri aurat in 2008, Chain aye Na in 2017, and Saiyaan Way in 2018. Adil Murad is born in Karachi, Pakistan in the year 1976. His father is a famous Pakistani actor named Waheed Murad. Adil’s first film was Raja sahib which was a flop due to bad direction and a weak story. After that, he worked with telefilms and was cast by telefilms in Streets of Karachi. Adil is married to Marrium Raheem. His sibling’s name is Sadia Murad and Aaliya Murad.
