Nisar Qadri is a radio, stage, and TV Actor from Pakistan. He started his work at Radio Pakistan, Rawalpindi. He started acting with PTV's drama serial Deewarein (1966). He performed in TV dramas since 1992 from Khawahish, where he played the famous role of his career as Shukiya. His other drama works include Aatish, Pooray Chand Ki Raat (2004), Aadhi Dhoop, Khidonay (2006), Iztaraab (2003) as Bakhshu, Angar Wadi (1994), Nijaat (1993), Bahadur Ali, Karawaan (1985), Samundar (1983), and Aik Haqeeqat Aik Afsana in which his dialogue Machis Hogi Aap Ke Paas?, translated as Would you have a matchbox?, in English went viral. He has also worked in the films Khamosh Pani (2003), also known as Silent Waters, in which he played Haji Munnavar's role and Hum Ek Hain (2004). He won the President's Pride of Performance Award on 23 March 2016 in the Arts Category to honour his 50-year acting career.

Khayyam Sarhadi is a well-known Urdu film and television actor who worked on over 200 stage plays and about 300 television shows. Khayyam Sarhadi was born to Zia Sarhadi, Pakistani screenwriter and director, and Zahira Ghazvani, also a writer, on the 12th June 1948 in Bombay, India. He moved to Pakistan in 1956. He is the grandson of the British Indian musician Rafiq Ghaznavi and his niece Zhalay Sarhadi is also an actress. Hailing from a film family, Khayyam Sarhadi wanted to make acting his profession even though his father wanted him to become a doctor. After much persuasion, he got approval from his family to make a living out of acting.
