Suriya Rethenna is a Tamil Dialogue Writer. She is a publisher who works with Raji Publications. She started her career in 2000 as a freelance writer and later became a dialogue writer. She is also recognized as the first female Tamil novelist. Her works were also shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize in 2014 and in 2016. Suriya has written children’s storybooks for primary schools and secondary schools. She is also conducting writing workshops for secondary school students. Most common and famous children book sellers along with Suriya Rethnna are, Shannon Ong, and Sung Yuen Ling.
