Dangamalla is a Sinhala drama that started airing on 29th January 2006 on Swarnavahini. It is based on the book The Naughtiest Girl In The School penned by Enid Blyton Enid Blyton was born in Dulwich, South London, >> Read More... , a British author. The translated Sinhala version was by Ganga Niroshini Suduwelikanda. Before it was made as a teledrama, this story was aired on Lakhanda Radio. Later, it was made as a stage play.

Elizabeth Allan is from an affluent family. She prefers living alone. Though she is intelligent, she envies all her classmates. Her mischievous behaviour causes her parents to change her school frequently. Finally, she was put in White Leaf School. This school doesn’t have any punishment, but make the children correct their mistakes by their own. As there is no punishment, her mischiefs continue. Will she change her attitude? The rest of the story speaks about that.

Ruchira Liyanarachchi produced the drama. Nalaka Swarnathilake directed it. Natasha Perera played the lead role. She won the Best Actress Award for her performance in the play at the National Children's Drama Festival in 2003. Sixty-five children were cast.
