Malkit Singh Boparai is a well-known England-based Punjabi singer and songwriter. He was born on 13 September 1962 in Hussainpur and raised in Nakodar. He completed his graduation in music from Jalandhar’s Khalsa College and Guru Nanak University in Amritsar. Later, in 1984, he moved to Birmingham. The unofficial “King of Bhangra” excels in Bhangra and Indi-Pop genre and somehow always represents his culture and tradition in his songs, be it in music, beats, or lyrics.
