Many bands from across Nepal participate and compete with each other. The show particularly focuses on rock music. In the rock genre, the participants emphasize on Nepali film music and, folk music. The winners of the show get cash prizes as well as an opportunity to perform abroad. The platform of this show gives many talented bands of Nepal an opportunity to perform on the big stage and get public recognition. During the auditions, there are 200 online auditions from which 26 bands are called for the judge audition round. Out of these, the judges give their judgment and select 9 bands. If we talk about the judging criteria, the elimination of the participants depends not only on the hands of the judges but also on the votes of the audience. This show has generated a lot of interest among the people in the rock genre across Nepal. It is not just a competition show but it also gives importance to the folk music of the country. This show is bringing forth new musicians and helping in enhancing the musical heritage of the country.
