ICT Award 2022 Nepali AWARDS on Kantipur Television

The ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Awards 2022 took place on December 23, 2022, at The Soaltee Kathmandu. InfoDevelopers sponsored the event. A panel of 12 jury members and 15 jury advisors was chosen to evaluate all the nominations. More than 25 jury meetings, field visits, and presentations were conducted to select all these categories. The program’s chief guest was Shankar Das Bairagi, the Nepalese government’s chief secretary. The winners were announced in 14 categories, including technology, healthcare, education, social impact, and entrepreneurship.

Microsoft and Huawei gave the winners and the top 5 in each category, credits for cloud services worth millions of rupees. Likewise, Silver Lining also provided a cloud support package in the digital services category for 2 lakh rupees. Nepal Telecom provided high-speed internet service to all the winners for one year. Awards were also given to the best startups from each of the seven provinces.

• Digital Services ICT Award: Fonepay Payment Services Limited

• Digital Governance ICT Award: Department of Foreign Employment

• South Asia Startup ICT Award: Tech4Billion

• Jury Mention ICT Award: Dikshanta Pandey (Python-based voice assistant)

The chief guest said that everyone should work to spread technology in remote areas. Hemraj Dhakal, the MD of IME Group, added, The ICT awards have inspired innovations. Overall, the event was a grand success and inspired thousands who attended.
