Vandana Gupte is a legendary Marathi actress who can also be seen in Hindi TV serials. She has done numerous Marathi plays and is a popular theatre personality. She is a well known actress in Marathi cinema. She made her debut with Marathi movie Lapandav (1993), in which she portrayed the role of a lawyer. In 2006, she played a role of mother-in-law in Marathi movie Matichya Chuli.   

Classical singer Manik Verma and Amar Verma are her parents and she is the sister of Bharti Achrekar and Rani Verma. She has worked in many Marathi movies and has been nominated for various movie awards. She played the role of Mrs. Archrekar in cricket based Bollywood movie titled “Meerabai Not Out” and portrayed the role of Mrs. Dandekar in the movie, “It’s Breaking News”. 

In Hindi Television industry, she became popular as dominating Nilambari Pandey of Kareena Kareena serial which aired on Zee TV during the year 2004-05. She was also seen in Pandey Aur Pandey on Zee TV, which was a song countdown show. In Pandey Aur Pandey she again played the character of Nilambari Pandey. In 2008-09, she played a mother-in-law in Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka which aired on Colors. She was also seen as a goan lady Maria (Preeti's mother) in Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo on SAB TV.

Sai Tamhankar is a popular Indian actress born in the year, 1986 on the '25th of June' in 'Sangli'. She studied at the 'Chintaman College of Commerce' which was where she started her initial career by taking part in street dramas as well as in the inter-college drama competitions. Sharmila Wagh comes from an affluent Marathi family, and her father is Marathi cinema photographer and producer-director Mohan Wagh. Together, the couple has two children- a son and a daughter named Amit Thackeray and Urvashi Thackeray, respectively. 

Prakash Amte is a well-known doctor and social activist. He was born on 24 December 1948 in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. His father, Baba Amte, was a renowned social activist. His mother’s name was Sadhana Tai Amte. He completed his graduation in MBBS. From Government Medical College, Nagpur, he completed his post-graduation in Surgery. During college, he fell in love with Mandakini Amte, and the couple married in December 1974.

Devendra Gangadhar Fadnavis is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (B.J.P.). He is presently filling in as the chief minister of Maharashtra and took a promise of office on 31st October 2014 at Wankhede Arena in Mumbai. Avadhoot was born and brought up in Mumbai. He is predominantly a music composer. Gupte made his first music album called as Paus in Marathi, which was released by the label Sagarika Music. The album was received well, and it fetched Gupte, the Best Composer Award, at The Alpha Gaurav Puraskar, in the year 2002. Avadhoot participated in the Music competition Saregama, organized by TVS. He won the championship, and this fame scaled up his career to a great height. After this success, he started singing and making music for several Marathi and Hindi movies. As an independent singer, he made the album Meri Madhubala, in Marathi, in the year 2003.
