Urmila Kanetkar Kothare, also known as Urmila Kothare, is an Indian actress who predominantly contributes to the Marathi television and cinema industry. She was born on 4th May 1986 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She completed her schooling at Victoria High school. She pursued her BA degree in Mumbai’s St. Xavier’s College and a Master of Arts in Kathak. She also learned Odissi from Sujata Mahaprata in Bhubaneshwar. In 2011, she married Adinath Kothare, whom she met while shooting for her debut film Shubh Mangal Savdhan. They named their baby girl, Jiza. Her father-in-law Mahesh Kothare, is a film director, producer, and actor.

Dipti Joshi is a Marathi actress known for her roles in several movies and Marathi television series. She is popular for the series Maza Hoshil Na, aired on Zee Marathi, where she portrays the role of Gulprit Brahme, Prabhakar’s wife. Joshi is also known for her role as Aruna Aunty in the Hindi movie Beyond Blue: An unnerving tale of a demented mind. The flick circumnavigates the life of Manas, a white-collar professional, who cannot bring himself to have anything other than the food that used to be cooked by his mother when she was alive. His urge to accept nothing else drives him almost crackers, and that leads him to a world of his mind’s making. The psychological thriller was released in the year 2015 and was written and directed by Zanane Rajsingh. Dipti Joshi was also featured in the Gujarati film Kevi Rite Jaish directed by Abhishek Jain and produced by Nayan Jain. The movie was released in the year 2012 and was a success to the extent of being touted as a glimmer of hope for the Gujarati cinema. In the movie, Joshi is seen playing the role of Jyotsnaben Bachubhai Patel. The film is a satire on the preoccupation of Patels (Gujarati community of farmers) to migrate to America to own a motel.

The well-known actress of Hindi television, Avanie Joshi, was born on 9th July 1993. She was born and brought up in New Delhi. Not only Avanie is famous as an actress, but also she is a renowned singer, RJ, and YouTuber. She was born on 19th May in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completed her master's degree in the course of Business Commerce from the prestigious institution of the University of Mumbai. Priya Marathe is one of the popular Indian actresses and stand-up comedian today. She was born and raised up in Thane and attended the AK Joshi School. She graduated at Bandodkar College. Initially, she never thought that she will end up acting. As a child, she dreams of becoming an Engineer, a Pilot or a Doctor. She was also seen on Zee Marathi’s Kalat Nakalat, Ha Khel Sawalyancha and Star Pravah’s Goshta Eka College Chi. In 2007, she made her debut in the Hindi television series as she appeared in the very popular Ekta Kapoor’s drama series, Kasamh Se as Vidya Bali, the daughter of Rashi (played by Swati Anand). Priya gained more fame after she acted as Varsha Satish Deshpande on Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta. Later, the actress essayed the role of Jyoti Malhorta in the Hindi romantic teledrama, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. She joins the cast of the drama soap, Uttaran and played the role of Ruby, the girlfriend of Tiger (played by Rohit Khurana). From 2012 to 2014, Priya acted again in a Marathi serial entitled, Tu Tithe Mi and bags the negative lead role as Priya Mohite. 

She also joined the reality-based comedy show, Comedy Circus Ke Superstars opposite Sunil Pal. She made a cameo appearance as Rani Saubhagyawati from Marwar in the historical drama series, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. Priya was also starred in the new crime-based series, Jayostute on Star Pravah. She bagged the challenging role of Pragati, a intelligent and fearless 25-year old lawyer who fights for the rights of the innocent.

She got married to her long-time actor friend, Shantanu Moghe, the son of the popular Marathi actor, Shrikant Moghe last April 24, 2012 which was held in a private ceremony at Pune, India. The actress is also on the lookout to act in the big screen someday.

Tejendra Neswankar is an Indian producer who has worked in several movies. Tej made his debut in the year 2009. In 2009 he worked as the executive producer of the film Saptapadi, followed by Mala Saasu Havi, and Asmita. In the year 2016 he produced the TV series Majhya Navryachi Bayko.

He is a Mumbai-based Marathi television and film actor. Hardeek Joshi starred in the 2016 Makarand Anaspure movie Rangaa Patangaa. In 2016, he played Rana Da, the lead actor in the Zee Marathi show, Tujhyat Jeev Rangala. His character falls in love with Anjari, played by Akshaya Deodhar.

Sachin Deshpande is an Indian actor and theatre artist who mainly works in the Bollywood film industry. He was born on 5th July 1984. He completed his education at the University of Mumbai, graduating BCom with first class. He is mainly known for his performance in the play Maani Junction. Some of his other known works include his performance as ‘Laakhi’ in the Netflix show ‘The Zoya Factor’, as ‘Manish’ in the show ‘Honar Sun Mi Hya Gharchi’, and as ‘Shreyas’ in ‘Mazya Navryachi Bayko’. Sachin Deshpande’s other well-known movies include Family Katta, Dusari Goshta, and Ajinkya, a Marathi movie.

He is Abhijeet Khandkekar, more acknowledged and recognizable as RJ Abhijeet for Punekars. He is from Nashik, Pune where he did his schooling and his specialization in Mass Communication. He was a multi-talented guy and showed interests in acting as well as anchoring. His interest in anchoring eventually got him the position of an RJ on Radio Mirchi.

Vikram Gokhale is one of the very promising actors in the television and Bollywood industry. He is born on the 14th of November, 1945. He is also popular for stage acting. He is known for his significant contribution to the Marathi and Hindi films. Chandrakanth Gokhale is his father. He too is a theatre artist and is known for his contribution to the Marathi Theater. He was born in Pune, but is currently settled in Mumbai and works from there.

One of the significant roles on the television very recently is that of Dr. Kamal Chopra in the serial Sanjivani that was aired on Star Plus in 2002, and continued till 2005. Sanjeevani was based on the lives of doctors and the bond between a doctor and a patient. Vikram Gokahale played the role of the filthy rich doctor, Dr.Chopra, who was also the trustee of the hospital- Sanjeevani.

Recently in movies he has been seen in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Bhool Bhulaiya. In Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he plays the role of a singer who desires his daughter to follow the culture and traditions of his family and hence forbids her to marry his foreigner student, Sameer that was played by Salman Khan. Bhool Bhulaiya is a psychological thriller, based on multiple personality disorder, where he plays the guru to the genius psychiatrist and helps save the life of a patient affected by the same disease.

On 24th November 2022, Vikram Gokhale was admitted to a private hospital in Pune for various health issues. His health deteriorated and he died at the hospital on 26th November 2022.

Starting his career as a stage performer, and then earning his place in both movie and television industry. Shailesh Datar, in his early life, lived in Nagpur, Maharashtra and after graduating, started acting in Marathi theater and television. He is mostly known by the name of Moropant Tambe, a the role that he played in a historical TV-show named: Jhansi Ki Rani (2009-2011), aired on Zee Tv, in which he played the role of Rani Lakshmibai’s father, who was hanged by the order of East India Company.
