After completing her education in literature, she worked as a journalist in “The Indian Express.” Her passion for poetry and writing made her quit the job and enter the Film and television industry. She has written the title song of several popular serials in the Marathi television industry like; Kalat Nakalat and Majhiya Priyala Preet Kalena. “Kalat Nakalat Kulvadhu” is the Marathi serial “Kalat Nakalat” title song telecasted in Zee Marathi.
