Sudharani Raghupathy is a famous classical dancer. She graduated in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Mysore. She learned Bharatanatyam from KP Kittappa Pillai, US Krishna Rao, and Mylapore Gowri Ammal. Apart from this, she took lessons in Carnatic music from T Chowdiah and Vaggeyakara, Vidwan Madurai N Krishnan. She was the first Indian to study at Randolph Macon's Women's College Virginia, USA in 1964-65. Sudharani was sponsored as an international student where she majored in World History of Dance, Studio Arts, and Martha Graham Techniques in Modern Dance.

Vinaya Prasad (or Vinaya Prakash) is a popular senior south Indian actress in both films and Television serials. She has acted in films in all four south Indian languages and has won the Karnataka State Best Actress Award twice in her acting career.

Vinaya hails from Udupi district in Karnataka. She was trained in music at very young age. She made her debut in films by performing a small role in Kannada film Madhvacharya  way back in 1988. Her first lead role was in a Kannada movie Ganeshana Maduve opposite Ananth Nag in 1990. His film was was the real turning point in her acting career and she had no looking back in her career in 90s with basket full of movies mostly in Kannada and Malayalam. Some of her best Kannada movies were  Nee Nakkare Halu Sakkare (1991), Mysore Jaana (1992), Aaganthuka (1993), Suryodaya (1993), Bannada Hejje (2001) etc. She bagged the state award for Aaganthuka and Bannada Hejje. Vinaya’s noted Tamil movie was Thaikulame Thaikulame (1995) in which she played the lead role opposite to Pandiarajan along with Urvashi.She also acted in Rajinikanth’s Chandramukhi (2005)Vinaya Prasad’s best Malayalam movies as lead roles were Mookilla Rajyathu (1991) as heroine, M T Vasudevan Nair’s Perumthachan (1991), Manichitrathazhu (1993), Pidakkozhi Koovunna Noottandu (1994) and the list goes on. She did a few Telugu movies like Indra (2002), Donga Dongadi (2004) and Andhrudu (2005) in which her performance was lauded. 

After a decade of lead roles, Vinaya shifted to playing character roles in movies and also moved to TV serials. She immortalized the character Indu of her debut Malayalam TV serial Sthree among Malayali family audiences. Sthree was aired on Asianet from 1998-2000 over 400 episodes. Vinaya acted in the Kannada version of the serial as well. Since then she has been a part of many TV serials in both Kannada and Malayalam. To name a few Bangaara on Udaya TV, Anupama and Nithyotsava on Zee Kannada, Saradha and Devimahatmyam on Asianet, Neermathalam on Surya TV and Balamani on  Mazhavil Manorama. Amidst the busy scheduled in TV serials, Vinaya is doing noted character and supportive roles in movies. In 2014 she has done five Malayalam movies including Om Shanthi Oshana, Bangalore Days and Avatharam.

In personal life, Vinaya was first married to acclaimed Kannada film director and editor V.R.K. Prasad who passed away in 1995. Vinaya is now married to Jyothiprakash, a TV serial director. She resides with her daughter Prathama Prasad in Bangalore.

Vijayalakshmi Singh is a Kannada film actress who was born in Chennai. The actress has so far acted in 25 Kannada movies and 15 movies in other south Indian regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam) and many of them have provided her lead or supporting roles. However, in her first movie ‘Nagamandala’, she was paired as a leading lady opposite Prakash Raj. The film was adapted from a play written by prolific Kannada actor and director Girish Karnad. Vijayalakshmi Singh handled a strong feminine character in this movie who was torn between her lover and husband.

Umashree is an actress and politician. She is a known face in the comic genre of roles. Having done over four hundred movies, this fifty seven year old actress joined politics in the year 2013. She became the Member of Legislative Assembly in Karnataka. 

Her movie career began way back in the year 1984 with an award winning supporting cast performance in Anubhava with Kasinath. She became a huge success with comedy roles that she essayed with simplicity. 

Her tele serials include, Musanje on Udaya T.V, directed by T.S.Nagabarana. Kicchu aired on ETV, directed by Chaitanya. She has also acted in Musanje Katha Prasanga on ETV directed by Prakash Belawadi. 

Having done innumerable movies, she has received many awards and recognition to her performances. She has won a lot of Best Actress Awards in various areas of entertainment. Umashree has won more than twenty awards. 

 She has worked with a lot of popular names in the industry like, N.S Rao, Mukhyamantri Chandru, Doddanna and Karibasavaiah. The directors under whom she has essayed roles are Yograj Bhat and S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu. 

This versatile actress with a great career in Kannada industry has raised two children as a single parent. She has a son and a daughter.

H. Anand, initially credited as Master Anand, is an Indian film and television actor in Kannada language. He started his career as a child actor, in 1990s films like Phani Ramachandra's Gauri Ganesha(1991), S. Mahendra's Thayi Illada Thavaru (1994) and Kishore Sarja's Makkala Sakshi(1994). He received the best child actor award for these three films and kept the title “Master” with his name even when he debuted as a lead actor in Kannada movies.
