Her mother Gayathri Prabhakar, the dubbing artist and actress, had introduced Anu Prabhakar into films. She debuted as a child artiste, in the two 1990 films “Chapala Chennigaraya” followed by “Shanti Kranti” and later went on to act in over 60 films, establishing herself well in the Kannada film industry. Having acted as the leading lady in several films, she now seems to have decided to play more of cameo roles, judging from her chosen role in the upcoming film, “Fair and Lovely”. Industry circles also say that she is perhaps now trying to get into a directorial mould – a long felt aspiration of hers. On the sidelines, she is also trying to catch up with finishing her education which she had to abruptly interrupt due to the priorities of acting, when she was an upcoming actress. After all, she had debuted as a child artiste, but her first lead role came only after another 9 years in 1999. That was in the film “Hrudaya Hrudaya”, pairing with one of the leading heroes of the time, Shivarajkumar. In her longish career thereafter, she had occasion to appear opposite Vishnuvardhan in a series of films, starting with “Soorappa” in 2000 till “Varsha” in 2005, the pair being a favourite of the cine-going crowd in Kannada at that time. Though her list of awards has been impressive, the most coveted must have been the Abhinaya Saraswathi title given to her by Kolada Math (a well known Bangalore Cultural organization), for her overall contribution to Kannada films. Amongst her notable films is “Akka” where she doubles up both as Akka Mahadevi, the Kannada poetess of yore, and also as the young Jyothi who is doing a doctoral thesis on her life and works. Perhaps the only major blot on her career has come not from her acting skills but from her personal life –the much publicized marriage of hers with Krishna Kumar, well known producer of Kannada films who also happens to be the son of yesteryear actress Jayanthi did not last long and ended up in a divorce.

Shwetha R Prasad is a skilled and charismatic Indian model and actress in the Kannada Television industry. She is known for her role as Radha in the famous Kannada Series, Radha Ramana that is aired on the channel Colors Kannada. RJ Pradeepa is an Indian-origin Radio Jockey, actor, and film director who primarily works in the Kannada movie industry. In 2014, he directed the film Huchudugaru. It was his debut movie. Veda Murthy produced the movie, and it starred Chetan Chandra, Amit Vishwanath, Prathap Raj, Aditi Rao, and P.Ravi Shankar. Shaman Mithru managed the cinematography department, and Joshua Sridhar composed music for the film. Jo Ni Harsha edited the entire movie. The film's plot revolves around the four young boys and their typical life in the village of Karnataka. In 2013, he got featured in the romantic drama Simple Agi Ondh Love. Suni directed the film. Hemanth produced the romantic drama, and it starred Rakshit Shetty, Shwetha Shrivastav, Srinagar Kitty, Rachana, and Rj Pradeepa.

Raghu Mukherjee is an Indian model and film actor and was born on 2 April, 1981. He mostly works in Kannada film industry and is a famous movie actor of south He was born in Bengaluru and has been in the industry since 2003. He was the winner of Mr. International and Grasim Mr. India titles in 2002. He pursued his modeling career after that but in year 2003 he got his first movie Paris Pranaya in which he played the character Krish. He then worked in Savaari as the character Abhiram in 2009 that gave the much required boost to his acting career and he was recognized for his acting skills in that movie and also nominated for the best film actor FilmFare Award Kannada that year. The movie was a success on box office and his performance was applauded by audiences. He stated that he, his family and his in laws all were very happy with the success of the film and he got 11 lead role offers after that which he is yet to decide. After that he worked in some other movies such as Prema Chandrama and after that in Nee Illadhe with Pooja Gandhi. In 2012, he worked in a gangster based movie Dandupalya that was very successful and he was nominated for SIIMA award for best actor in supporting role and after that he was signed for the role of Mahavir Buddha in Angulimala. Besides his acting career he also has hosted on TV and worked in many commercials as well.

In Aakramana film he tried horror genre and in latest movie Apna Desh he is going patriotic. He has done versatile roles and made a special place in the hearts of his audience. He also had started his own architectural company and is also busy with it these days till the shooting of Apna Desh starts. He says that this field is creative and interesting and he has some ideas that he wants to try out in architecture field.

Gurukiran or also known as Gurukiran Shetty is a well-known music director from the Kannada film industry, who started his career in the year 1994 as director V. Manohar’s assistant. He was born on October 28 in Mangalore, Karnataka to K Jayaram Shetty and Ratnakanti. He studied at St. Aloysius Primary School in the early 70’s and he is an active class singer back then. He graduated Commerce in Mangalore University and after that he started to perform in orchestras as a singer and keyboardist. 

Gurukiran entered the film industry as a music director for the Upendra-starrer and directorial film entitled A in the year 1998. Due to the success of the film, Upendra wanted him to work again on his next film. Gurukiran composed the songs in the psychological-thriller Kannada film, Upendra in year 1999, while Upendra himself penned the lyrics. 

Besides music, Gurukiran wanted to enter the film industry as an actor and so he tried his luck in Sandalwood. Gurukiran’s first film was entitled Mr. Shanker Bekal as a cameraman. He then appeared on his first major role in the 1993 heist thriller film, Nishkarsha, helmed by Sunil Kumar Desai. However, he failed to make an impact as an actor. 

His major breakthrough came in the year 2005 in Shivarajkumar-starrer Jogi, where he sang the songs Hodi Maga and Bin Ladennu Nan Maava. This record made an all time record in the Kannada film industry with a record selling prior to the release of the film. In 2007, he entered the Telugu film industry with the Telugu remake of Jogi entitled Yogi, helmed by V. V. Vinayak. He also scored the music for the Telugu film, Nagavalli in 2010. 

Gurukiran has been into judging musical talent show such as Confident Star Singer Season 2 on Asianet Suvarna and on ETV Kannada’s Ede Tumbi Haduvenu. He sang several songs in Kannada films, including the Kanasina Maratta from the Kannada romance film, Banna Bannada Loka, which became a big hit. Gurukiran received several awards for his outstanding contributions to the Kannada film industry, including the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director in 2011 and many more. 

He got married to Pallavi Guru Kiran and they have been blessed with two children namely Hrudaya and Shravya.
