Simple Kaul is an Indian actress known for Shararat. Shararat – Thoda Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat was a show on Star Plus, which had Jiya (Shruti Seth) as its main protagonist. It was a story about magic and fairies living on earth as Jiya’s Mother was married to a human. 

Simple was playing a negative role. Her character was Parminder Sohni aka Pam. Jiya and Dhruv were best friends and had feelings for each other but Pam (Simple) wanted to have Dhruv to herself and managed to hurt Jiya whenever possible.

Simple has played other various roles and appeared in serials. She played the role of Pratham Mann’s Sister on Sony TV’s Kutumb Season 2 (2001- 2003). In 2004 she was a part of Ye Meri Life Hai where she played the character of Reema (2004-2005). She was Simi in Aisa Des Hai Mera (2006) and Roopa in Tujko Hai Salaam Zindagi (2007-2008). Other Shows on Sony TV that she was featured in were Saas Bina Sasural and an episode of Aahat (Season 6).

She was also a part of Star Plus’s Show Khichdi where she made a guest appearance and was supporting cast in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and then off course Shararat where she played the negative lead. 

She was also part of some shows on Sahara One. She played an important character in Sab TV’s Show Twinkle Beauty Parlour Lajpat Nagar (2006), Nikita in Maniben.com (2009-2010) and was featured in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah a popular show on SAB TV, Jugni Chali Jalandhar a comedy series aired on SAB TV from 2008 to 2010 and Jeannie Aur Juju again a SAB TV show. She also did a few roles on Disney Channel Shows like Sanya and Oye Jassie and was a part of Zee TV’s Show Teen Bahuraaniyaan and & TV’s Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls.

Gul Khan is one of the leading Indian Television producer, director and writer. She is the co-creative head and co- producer of 4 Lions Productions. She has written and produced many television soaps such as Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which had 398 episodes and which was aired from 2011 to 2012.

Born on October 26, 1987, Smriti Kalra is from an army family of Punjab.  She is from Delhi. Early in her career days, she got chosen as RJ for a radio channel. She was then preparing for her journalism course. She is an MBA graduate from the much renowned Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. Later she was likewise given the opportunity by Sunshine production house to feature in their show 12/24 Karol Bagh aired on Zeetv. It was Smriti’s debut role in the television industry. She played the role of the lead female protagonist in the show.

She was most recently seen assuming the lead part in the celebrated show Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the Year. She played the role of an energetic and an eager young lady named Surveen. Another promising actor played the lead protagonist role in the show. It was being telecasted by Channel V. At present she is assuming the lead protagonist role in the popular serial Itti Si Khushi. It is being aired on Sony TV Network.  Popular television actor Anuj Sachdeva is playing the role of male protagonist alongside Smriti. Itti Si Khushi depicts the story of a young lady named Neha, who has been in coma for the past 12 years. Now when awakens after 12 years, she is mentally still an adolescent child.  Being the daughter of an Army Officer, Smriti has wandered around the whole nation.

Shivin Narang is an impeccably handsome and talented actor of B-town, who first rose to fame with his role of Yuvvraaj in ‘Suvreen Guggal- Topper of the Year’. This twenty-four year old actor has managed to create a huge fan following; thanks to his good looks, charming personality and awesome acting skills. Shivin was a struggling model when the director of ‘Suvreen Guggal’ was impressed with his audition video and selected him for the lead role. In this serial, he played the role of Yuvvraaj, a ruthless, desi hunk, who managed to charm all with his impeccable personality. His crude, simple and lover boy, image in the serial, impressed innumerable viewers. Apart from that, the onscreen chemistry between him and Smriti Kalra also turned out to be the USP of the show.

Right after working in ‘Suvreen Guggal’, Shivin was selected for ‘Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera’. This serial is based on a ‘brother-sister’ relationship and here he plays the role of Rannvijay, the leading male protagonist. This show gave him overnight popularity and success. In an interview Shivin mentioned that he is planning to continue the role of ‘Yuvvraaj’ and doesn’t want to concentrate on anything, as of now. He further added that he wants to improve as an actor and have a lasting impression on his fans.

However his wife, Aditi Shirwaikar, also an actress, understood his plight and helped him through it. They met on the sets of 'Miilee' and participated as a jodi on 'Nach Baliy'e on STAR Plus. They married on the 1st of December 2010. Aditi, Mohit says that she is his best friend, and “She is very understanding despite my hectic work schedules”. He has also been using his character of Samrat as a tool to raise awareness about domestic violence in homes, and to raise a voice for the plight of women.
