Mahila Swavalamban is a Hindi show broadcast on the DD Kisan channel which comes under the Doordarshan channel program. In this show, influential women in small villages and regions are interviewed. Their powerful life stories are shared with the world. Rajasthan’s city, Bikaner, as we all know suffers from extreme weather conditions and shortage of water. All these women were born in really low-income families; some got married at an early age, others were not allowed to study, have worked as laborers, but still managed to do something worthwhile for the society where they live. Keema Devi was helped by an organization that gave her just two goats to look after. Keema worked relentlessly and managed to groom these goats. Keema learned everything about goats and groomed high-quality goats for sale in the market.
People in her village followed her example as they saw her making so much profit from the grooming of these goats. Another woman named Amrita went against her in-laws to complete her twelfth standard. She then joined an organization where she learned to be independent by making textile necessary in metropolitan cities. They helped Amrita make the exact raw material that is necessary for these cities. The clothes of Rajasthan are already famous. She then taught the women around her to do the same. This NGO helped them all become independent, along with Amrita's help.

a degree in Education and Technology but came back to India to carry her dream. Her dream is providing education to as many children as she can, along with helping women around India. She combined technology with technique to train women. She has made an NGO to train women and give them education as well as employment. She trains women in block printing.
