Games Bond was a virtual reality tv show that aired on Star One. Games Bond starred in mid-august 2005. With its limited 13 episodes, the show made a huge impact on Indian television. It aired every Friday at 8 pm. The show was based on Virtual reality video gaming. The show has a very different setting; it wasn't the one decorated with lights and flowers; it wasn't giving a happy vibe. The set was set to remind us of a post-war scene, where walls were torn, half-standing buildings, water pipes that were broken, etc. This is because the show was based on a video game named Counter-Strike 1.6. Counter-Strike is a video game in which a shooter with a lot of guns shoots people. The show was hosted by Model turned actor Rahul Dev.
The show had a total of 8 teams who were to compete with each other in the video game. With each episode, the losing team was eliminated from the show, and at the end of the 13th episode, the team getting the highest scores wins the show. The show was made for kids and teenagers. It was made by Kalkush & Company. Kanwaladeep Kalasi and Ankush Patel produced it. Winner of the show got a lot of gaming consoles and video games as the winning prize.
