She, along with her choreographer, Vartika Jha, was one of the six finalists and later walked home with the prestigious title. The show was hosted by actor Jay Bhanushali and was judged by veteran Indian actresses Bhagyashree Dasani and Urmila Matondkar, along with prominent Indian choreographer and director Remo D’ Souza. She was a daily wage worker who worked with the construction company before participating in the dance reality show. Her enthusiasm for dance and the backing from her husband enabled Varsha to step up to grab the opportunity and participate in the show.
